I would say a resounding yes.

Just as well doubling up/down is rare but of course i am being a tad sarcastic.

It won't happen too often - and Nick's average is high enough to allow us to bring in almost any Championship rider other than Cookie or King, or indeed more than half the Premiership, too.

Unless he is moved out in another team change - Bandits following Peterborough's recipe for success last season !

Don't know what all the fuss is about, not exactly strengthened the team, Howe and Morris are only like for like with Vissing and Berge, and Etheridge weakens the team at No 2, Payne is not a massive step up either.

No fuss, Berwick`s team including Howe is perfectly legal, Gappmaier has not yet completed 4h 4a and so doesn't yet qualify for a proper average so stays on an assessed average. It wasn't Berwick who decided to do away with rolling averages and its hardly Berwick`s fault that the meeting at Ipswich was rained off so Carr leaves with Howe coming in.

Seems the Ipswich fans etc have quietened down since they have done the same thing (Signed Nathan Greaves who has a 2.27 Premiership average for a rider who has a 2.00 average in the Championship).

They have 3 riders who's average has changed and is not a like for like signing (fitted in because Cameron Heeps average hasn't been adjusted even though he is 2 points higher than his green sheet average). :drink:

No just a few sensible individuals who can see beyond the bottom of their own team list and have an intelligent debate about what they beleive would be best for the long term integrity of the sport. 👍

Good luck for the rest of the year.

Hoping the Witches can come back and collect another 4 points anyway 😛

so far off the mark its laughable.

Youre right its not like for like - its a 2.27 rider in place of a 4.57 rider.

The complete opposite. 😆

What's done is done get over it, and it's not that when your promoter has to issue an apology over the transfer of Nathan greaves now is it.

According to SCB green sheet issue 7 his average is 2.00 (where does the 4.57 come from?). It is also 2.27 in the higher league so a conversion factor needs to be applied.

As I have said before all teams look to get the biggest advantage they can from the rules.

How is that so far off the mark it's laughable. :drink:

You obviously havent read much of my previous posts properly or you wouldnt need to ask.....

Look at the season to date averages and what Danyon had averaged from his 7 meetings....

The Greaves average is a 2nd tier average from his time at Sheffield not a top league average so no conversion required....

With regard to your last line 'all teams look to get the biggest advantage from the rules' perfectly proves my point as to is wrong with the current set up.....

I know but it isn't an official average because he hasn't completed the required meeting's.

Surely the higher average is used or you won't have an accurate average.

As other have said dodgy burgers, different Aussie rules etc, etc .
