allthegearbutnaeidea
I was discussing sponsorship with him, for the following season, so Yes I Think So[/quoteCan I finally put this rumour to rest. TJ tried to contact Berwicks management several timesabout a possible deal for this season without success. In the end he had to consider otheroptions offered by other clubs. So yes he wanted to return to Berwick. That is the exact information that I had as well and was off such a reliable source that I believed it despite some of the club 'officials' suggesting otherwise. Such a shame as well as he is missed in this team now especially as he would be at 3/4/5.

From the horses mouth, that is what he told me, I have no reason to dispute what he said. There's people up here been stirring the shee-ite then! I'd also heard he didn't want to return..... Not from TJ though Sarah, as said I was talking sponsorship with him

Marksman
The Berwick promotion should just bite the bullet and re-declare the line up now before other teams start making changes, or are forced to due to injuries etc. Riders will soon be hard to find. Something similar to this line up would improve things; and those riders will be available on a Saturday Lewis Bridger 8.53Joe Jacobs 5.36Claus Vissing 6.80Kevin Doolan 6.99Justin Sedgmen 7.60Zach Wajknecht 2.63Ryan Blacklock 2.00 Weak at reserve, but most teams are. To be fair Gappmaier has been good so far so that wouldn'f be fair on him.

TJ is water under the bridge, what happened has happened. I suppose the question is where do we go from here, easy to say drop riders, what do you replace them with. Looking at what is available would end up with a team much the same as we have now. The talent is already signed, and in general only journeymen left, fine to use if you have injuries.

Surely if you're going for a 7.5ish rider then Bellego is the answer, you own him and he seems to be improving all the time, unlike Sedgmen who just seems to be at his level. I'd keep Liam Carr but you need to get him to reserve, does Carr and Nielsen fit in place of Vissing or Doolan and Wajknecht? Gives you a strong reserve and a few young lads who are all generally moving in the right direction.

Interesting you have dropped The Gapp, probably been the most consistant, doing his job and getting better

I agree with Taffy (first time for everything, I suppose). Dance with the ones that brung ya to the ball. Let's face it, an eight-point win over the Tigs on Saturday and everything in the garden will be blooming lovely again!
Normski
Best selection yet would like to see NBJ at Berwick his kind of track let see what the management come up with but I think I know kasper lykke scored 4pts from 2 meetings at Berwick last season so would not strengthen the team in any way at home if changes were made

allthegearbutnaeidea
What about some new blood Eduardo Krcmar, Ondrej Smetana or Frederick Jakobson.too much of a risk imo although if it's the right rider (a good one) then I suppose it isn't a risk
screm
Bridger 8.53 Gappmaier 4.00 Vissing 6.80 Doolan 6.99 Bellego 7.63 Ayres 3.60 Blacklock 2.00 Like the look of this team, maybe though you`d still have the problem with Gappmaier at two that you do with Carr. Seems Berge isn't quite as happy at Berwick as he thought he might be so for him to leave the team would make sense for club and rider and Carr is weak at two, though I think the big problems for him are machine related, nevertheless he isn't, and doesn't look like scoring the points he should be so I agree about dropping him. Bellego being a club asset must be under consideration, though he has a full diary now so to add Berwick`s fixtures could prove a problem especially where there are clashes as I`m guessing the clubs he has now would take precedent over Berwick`s fixtures.
