Berwick 2017 50th Year

Recommended Posts

Lets just see how the team responds tommorrow night, before we continue to sharpen the knives.

We have only one league match against the team that is probably going to win the league, so too early. However when decisions need to be made, make them, we have had 8 years of dithering when decisions needed to be made, that must not continue.

The issue I see for Berwick is pretty much everyone in their team has been a bit pants so far. So who do you keep and who do you drop? There don't seem to be any obvious contenders, or any obvious replacements! I'd be prone to suck it up for a few weeks and see whats happening after a few more meetings. Titles are not won in April or May but September these days.

Agree that titles are won in Sept now but with only 4 play off places I think they can be lost in April/May.

2 home defeats in that time and that team is almost certainly out of it....

OK but TJ isn't here and we seem to want different riders after losing a home match which is fine if we have different riders ready and willing to come to Bandits without breaking the budget and with low averages. Of course riders who have low averages have earned them and might continue to do so.

Some sense on here, at last!

I was discussing sponsorship with him, for the following season, so Yes I Think So

Can I finally put this rumour to rest. TJ tried to contact Berwicks management several times

about a possible deal for this season without success. In the end he had to consider other

options offered by other clubs. So yes he wanted to return to Berwick.
