can anybody tell why steve Worrall gates and is in front by quite a margin and is then deemed to b the cause of the stoppage as everybody around me was wondering the same thing

I think everyone was wondering the same thing!

Given the rain that fell Friday night and all Saturday afternoon it was a minor miracle this meeting went ahead, tremendous credit to the track staff. Very enjoyable meeting given the conditions. Good to see queues to get in, full car park, very healthy numbers in corporate boxes and a good crowd in the stadium. Good to see Claus in fine form on his return. Will be very happy if he can keep up that sort of form. For the visitors both Worralls, Ricky Wells and Jason Garrity were impressive. Josh Grajczonek looked fast when out in front. Lets face it, you were never going to get the cut and thrust of league racing in an individual event, but there was still some good racing.

Speedway season is back and there are a lot of positive things happening with the new promotion.

You can't tell me you were cold at P&P. That's been one of the most mild March nights we've had in a while!

No jacket required for me at P & P.... and I'm a southern softie 😎

by some body may be parking the cars the problem was 2 lanes coming out of speedway and some trying to get in then a problem is caused

The two lanes of traffic thing has been happened for years, though I agree it can be a problem at times when someone is trying to get in. If people treat it as a proper junction and leave the incoming left hand lane clear it will add to the time it takes to clear the car park. Anyway surely a car park full of cars with people going to the speedway is a nice problem to have, must admit its never been a problem for me, maybe you could stay back a few minutes to let the traffic die down a little.

Brilliant to read crowd figure of 2500 (or near enough close to it last night as said by Anthony Barlow). Never seen it look so healthy in a while.

Hopefully a few come back next week to see team action :approve:

Certainly looked to be a very good crowd even better than FIM meeting I would say. Good on them welll deserved if we could manage half that on a weekly basis would be good.

Since I stand on the back straight when visiting Shielfield , not having to walk round to the back of the main stand to buy a beer was a welcome surprise . Hope that facility is there for the season as it was doing a roaring trade last night .
