allthegearbutnaeidea
Refreshing to see the new promotion are sweeping aside the way other tracks fiddle about with which meetings can or can't be watched with a season ticket. Every single meeting at Shielfield in 2017, league, cup, play-offs and any special open events for £249, OAPs and students £189 and all kids up to 16 absolutely free, every meeting. A serious question: Is this the best season-ticket deal in British speedway? Untrue, the only individual meeting would be the 50th season meeting, Kev's testimonial, if at Berwick, which he told me it will be, would not be included clearly. Lewis Bridger is also due a testimonial, though I`m not sure that it would be held at Berwick.
scaramanga
wot about unemployed dont think they should pay£15 per meeting why not i know its hard if you are looking for work but i know plenty who do work and are worse off than many unemployed people my own son has struggled to find work and i know its hard but its not a reason to get stuff like this cheaper you get the same entertainment as the full price paying people hope you look after ryan blacklock up there a fellow cumbrian and all that
EIS002
Sheffield are the cheapest at £240 for all league/KOC/Play-off/Challenge matches at Owlerton in 2017. The cheapest of those offering all Champ Lge matches and 1 KOC match are Glasgow at £225. In alphabetical order (so there is no bias) as far as I can make out the full list is: Berwick £249 for all matches Edinburgh £258 for all League matches and 1 KOC match Glasgow £225 for all League matches and 1 KOC match Ipswich £255 for the same as Edin and Glas Newcastle £270 but it doesn't state what you get for that (but I believe it's all matches, but I could be wrong) Peterborough £300 for all matches + Parking + prog Redcar £230 All league matches and KOC matches inc any Play-off meetings, but doesn't inc Challenge matches, Individual meetings (Julie Lewis Memorial for example) or the Silver Helmet Scunthorpe £N/A don't offer season tickets (bizarrely!) Sheffield £240 All matches Workington £245 but, like Newcastle, it doesn't state which matches are included and which aren't. Scunny like cash not cheques or debit transfers 😜😜🙃🙃

screm
think that £15 is to mutch to pay for someone who has no job due to ill health . wot about who every week get in free of charge If they are there providing a service to getting a Saturday nights speedway on at Berwick I see no problem with them gaining free entry, is there one or two to many people getting in free who shouldn't, yes there probably is but I would think you could say the same at many tracks these days.

Halifaxtiger
Our hidden gem seems to have had a change of heart, lets hope he can chip in with a few points along the way next season. Beating the other 2pt reserves on a reasonably regular bases must be his job in the team. I am not sure Blacklock will cut it at PL level but one thing is certain : it won't be for want of trying. Best burger at any speedway track I've been to and those Scotch pies!! I presume the Andersons are still doing the catering? They are the only speedway food I will eat and, indeed, I skip a meal to do it.
