Berwick 2017 50th Year

Recommended Posts

BERWICK ?

1 Lewis Bridger 8.53

2 Kevin Wolbert 8.00

3 Kevin Doolan 6.99

4 Jake Allen 5.96

5 Liam Carr 4.69*

6 Tom Perry 3.76

7 Tom Bacon 2.00

Total 39.93

That's probably your best one so far but I personally wouldn't take Wolbert... You never know if he's going to take the pee out of his next club to return to Edinburgh on another low average!

It's with great pleasure we can announce to you tonight that we are 2 steps closer to completing our lineup that will do battle in the 2017 SGB Championship!

Please give a warm welcome to Dimitri Berge and Luke Chessell, both riders make there debut for the Berwick Bandits in our 50th great season!

Dimitri Berge becomes the second super talented Frenchman to proudly wear the Bandits colours in recent memory.
Dimitri is a Shielfield park track specialist with the Speedway world at his feet.
Berge's ambition and never say die attitude promises to throw up plenty of spectacular racing in 2017!

Luke Chessell makes his SGB Championship debut with the Bandits, Luke's all action style and consistently impressive scores in the 2016 National League made him one of the most sought after number 7 position riders in the UK and are very proud to welcome Luke to the Bandits lineup.

Stay tuned in the near future for the final members representing the Berwick Bandits in 2017!

10.67 left ?

I worked it out to be 10.76 left.

Will be interesting to see which way Berwick go, 2 5+ pointers to keep Liam at reserve or so you resign Perry and then have 7 points for your final rider ?

Also if you do sign Perry are him and Liam still eligible for British rider reductions if so that's definitely the way I'd go and have a very strong top 4!

2-5pt men would leave us very weak IMO .Not many decent 5 pt guys IMO

All action style = he falls off too much.

Think Berwick is a track that will suit him, always thought he'd become a NL heatleader at Rye if he stayed on the bike a bit more often and seems to have kicked on a bit this year. Believe he is a Rye asset still so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on in the Championship at Berwick.
