Fromafar
Not the wisest move IMO opinion to have Bates and Garrity in the same team, agree with you on Gappmaier, on his night he looked a real talent that should be able to hold his average, however on other night he was tailed off at the rear in some races..Most of theTeam apart from Kev and TJ rode similar to Gappmaier. Heedthebaw
A foreign (EU) rider who has not ridden in the UK comes in on a 4 ave, those who rode this year who did not reach a 5 ave come in on a 5 ave Minimum is NOW 4, not 5

bigeddiechek
Bandits announce first 3 signings on their Facebook page. Pretty good looking start!
2ndbendbeerhut
Look at the averages released by the bspa. Any non Brit with an average lower than 5 has been assessed at 5. Eg Campton, Nielsen , Sissis, Castagna
allthegearbutnaeidea
Well BRIDGER, DOOLAN and CARR onto the teamsheet, welcome Lewis Bridger
Barnstormer
Didn't have Bridger in thoughts. Bit of scoop signing. Should be around 8.5 ? Don't think he has been ever in old Premier League. Likely to be number 1 ? Edited November 14, 2016 by Barnstormer
DSC67
Didn't have Bridger in thoughts. Bit of scoop signing. Should be around 8.5 ? Don't think he has been ever in old Premier League. Likely to be number 1 ? Never ridden at the middle level , moved from the old conference league straight to EL level Out of 100 guesses Bridger would've been. no 101 , bit of a signing out of the blue , only time will tell

bigeddiechek
Great to have Kevin and Liam back, and Bridger is a fantastic addition to the team. Most pleased

Marksman
Look at the averages released by the bspa. Any non Brit with an average lower than 5 has been assessed at 5. Eg Campton, Nielsen , Sissis, Castagna Those list of averages are confusing, but the Comets Management confirmed that Campton would start on 4.67 for 2017 as the lowest average has dropped to 4. Nielsen would start on 4.19, Sissis and Castagna will both be 4.
topsoil
I think the captain and Liam were nailed on after last season. Great to have Doolan back, couldn't ask for a better role model for captain and team man. You also get the local rider in the team and hopefully he can build on the progress he made last season. Lewis Bridger? Some will say a gamble, could turn out to be an inspired signing, only time will tell. Certainly didn't see that one coming.
KEITH M
Regarding Lewis Bridger I can remember Berwick fans getting as excited about a certain Charlie Gjedde a few years ago 😀 Edited November 14, 2016 by KEITH M
Falcon Hammer
Lewis is not the best of gaters, but is not shy in forcing a pass - Should get plenty of entertainment next season
screm
Very impressed to attract a rider like Lewis Bridger, he should be capable of being a decent No1 at this level.
Panthers89
I thought it was a joke of a signing to start with, but Lewis on a 8.50 average, I honestly think will hold if not improve it.
Hamster00
Bridger could go either way for me, he showed a lot of promise a few years ago but has since taken a year out and been a very average at best EL rider it's a boom or bust kind of signing. We need to make sure we get the next four right. I'd like to see Perry next. Surely now with Carr back on board on the average he is they can't sign Gappmaer on an inflated average.
