topsoil
Joe Jacobs contract finished today, he may get kept on or another rider may be found Certainly at home the last couple of meetings he has been getting more used to the track and scoring better. Good win over Lawson on Saturday night.
Fromafar
Scott Courtney told us in Saturday's programme that "communication from Lewis's doctors has been scarce, we can do nothing else but trust the information" so what more do you want? Anyway, Lewis Bridger isn't in Berwick's current 1-7, so whatever is happening isn't going to affect current scoring, and I know I was cheering when Joe Jacobs humbled Richard Lawson in Heat 1 on Saturday!whatabout the communication from Lewis though?or is it just the way you worded it. havenagotahope
I think we have to accept that sadly Lewis Bridger looks like he's heading in another direction. Shame as he is one of those riders who can put bums on seats which every club needs

Bandit59
Any news if we have resigned Jacobs or someone else?
kermitfrog
Possibly Garcia? Just been released by Recar and tends to do pretty well round Berwick?
allthegearbutnaeidea
Possibly Garcia? Just been released by Recar and tends to do pretty well round Berwick?hes our asset but it would make our team even worse, we have around 6.20 to replace him... TheScotsman
Jacobs is certainly averaging less than Garcia so you need a real 6 pointer.
Bandits4eva
Update from Bandits Twitter and Facebook is that we have replaced Lewis Bridger/Joe Jacobs with Nikolaj Busk Jacobsen. Â Excellent signing and welcome to NBJ and thanks to Lewis and Joe too!

George Dodds
Typical Bridger he must be the biggest waste of talent british speedway has seen . suffered a back injury, possibly requiring surgery in a horrific looking crash ... but you're right why doesn't he just take an aspirin and get on with it, what a wuss! Don't think the injury is the whole story in this case, unfortunately we got the Bridger I was worried about when we signed him. I was hoping he would be a revived eager Bridger, but perhaps a leopard dosn't change his spots after all. N.B.J is a good signing
allthegearbutnaeidea
Good signing hopefully got an eye on next years team already and this is a bit of a trial/forward planning for next year, happy with that.

screm
Typical Bridger he must be the biggest waste of talent british speedway has seen . Â Nothing to do with talent, Bridger`s back injury is worse than first thought and has been ruled out from making a track return, though Bridger himself seems to have moved on from speedway so maybe we wont see him return. Lord Skid
So if it's a career ending injury, could be a big insurance payout then.
