David Johnston1
maybe the referee could tell,,, if he/she had seen it Thought with it being an open meeting both excluded riders would be allowed back in. When I went round to the stand I spoke to a couple of people saying the ref (Jim) could have allowed all 4 back in as it was on the first bend. One of them said they thought it was a trainee ref (could be getting tested or anything?). Enjoyed my day at the football and speedway (will need to wait another 4 weeks until back due to holiday and other function's).
Fromafar
by some body may be parking the cars the problem was 2 lanes coming out of speedway and some trying to get in then a problem is caused  People need to learn to drive on the right side of the road, that is not the speedways problem .There is not 2 lanes leaving the stadium,it is a single carriageway . Nah !, I think the bungalows at the entrance should be demolished, and a dual carriage way built in the entrance.

balderdash&piffle
Is that to go along with 50,000 roofed Stadium to contain future crowds at Speedway. According to rumours, there was that type of capacity on Saturday. However ignoring the rumours and a little bit of exageration, it was a very healthy crowd on Sat, lots of visitors from other Northern clubs. Normski
Would say there was a lot more at Berwick than their was at the New national stadium at Glasgow 😄😄 1200 was the figure getting mentioned at Ben Fund Meeting so Berwick had to be near the 2000 mark.
tyretrax
If you drive on the right side of the road you would drive on the left Whoooosh. Well, I never would never have thought two rights make a left.

I agree there were more on Saturday than at BenFund we thought between1500 and 2000 which is huge for Bandits although the 2500 figure quoted by Deirdre Barlow is a bit of nonsense. Great night and run very smooth and quick from Ken Taylor cutting tape to Clause jumping on the podium in the rain.
screm
Whatever the crowd figure was for last Saturday the task that the new promotion faces is to get as many of those that were there last Saturday to return again and again throughout the season, something that hasn't happened in seasons gone by. In other season we were told of this buzz, something that many fans didn't feel, but this season there does seem to be a genuine positivity around the club, if the team gets off to a decent start then the new promotion might be onto a good thing. Gazc
Good to see the Bandits rewarded with such a big crowd. Â Hopefully it is a sign off things to come for them this season.

Agree with you, seems there was decent crowds at yesterdays meetings at Wolverhampton and Peterborough, hopefully a trend that continues for every club this year.
sommelier
Help needed please. I will be travelling up from Bristol this Saturday to watch the Berwick / Newcastle meeting, would anyone know how I could get in touch with the Berwick official photographer, as I would like to commission him/her to take some Bridger/Lambert photos for me. Any help would be much appreciated.
