Reviresco
I think we should sue d I d or whatever chain Danyon uses for assisting in the breaking of his collar bone. Â Sue did? Did what? Was it Sue who did for Danyon? Â Funny how people were coming on here lambasting the lad and saying he was dangerous and not up to PL standard and now he is... well, irreplaceable. Amazing. Pob
Come now Macca we all know he's got talent just a bit as they say rough round the edges . Foxhall not the easiest of tracks to race around (scares the hell out of me at times watching him at foxhall) . Â Hope he's back for us next season but with maybe a little more throttle control . Big Talent may he be a Witch for many years to come . Â Get well soon Danyon .

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Hopefully agent Halsey comes in, and gets in the way of the Ippo riders......he has to get in front first..... wink No way should we use Halsey for this one - just imagine he scored a single point in his last ride which was enough to secure our play off place ahead of the pussycats. Even I couldnt inflict that sort of pain on them!
Reviresco
Come now Macca we all know he's got talent just a bit as they say rough round the edges . Foxhall not the easiest of tracks to race around (scares the hell out of me at times watching him at foxhall) . Â Now come on Pob. There were a number of Posts on here saying that Danyon was dangerous to himself and other riders and that there was no way that he was PL standard. A couple of them were quite brutal. I can find them and quote them if you really want me to. Â I always maintained that he was good enough, and that he would be a GB International in 5 years time - well, he kind of achieved that last night racing overseas and captaining the Team GB Young Lions U23 team. Â I dont think i have said that he wasn't PL or he was dangerous , just he's still a little green as they say . Bloody hell whats it been a year since he first got on a bike . First saw him way back at start of the season when he got thrown in at the deep end at Rye House for Ipswich yes was out the back every race but lots of effort from him and he wasn't that far away in his races . Steep learning curve for him but he's done really well of late and has justified the faith CL has shown in him . Maybe CL should have taken a punt at the beginning of the season and not gone for Ritchings . Glad he got his chance this season just a shame that it looks like that it for him this season . Glad he got his chance this season just a shame that it looks like that it for him this season .   Didn't say it was you buddy and don't think Dan would have been ready for the PL at the start of the season, but his leaps and bounds 2016 has propelled him into that stature now. Could've been a disaster seeing him in the Witches No. 7 jacket at the start of the season but you can't ignore him now. Lots of things planned for him before the start of 2017 and, dependent on the league make up, expect him to be doing NL and PL again next season and gaining a bit of EL experience too  First saw him in demo races at Coventry and then in an amateur meeting at Scunthorpe (was he a Buxton rider then?) and you could tell then that there was a very fast motorbike rider who had the makings of a speedway rider there. poultec, Danny and Richard (who must take a huge amount of credit) have brought the speedway rider out. Anyone who keeps JPB and Jack Smith at Reserve is a half decent 2nd t=year NL rider.  #onwardandupwarddanyon. Super Blue
So what exactly are the rules on a replacement for Danyon for this meeting ? Â Can we just get someone like James Shane's/someone who qualifies as a 3pointer from the national league or does it have to be one of the premier league 3pt riders ? TheScotsman
Can be an NL rider not in a PL 1-7 who hasn't had a PL average over 4 I believe - oh but not if your name's Mitchell Davey apparently. (But you could only rule him out if he wasn't laid up with chipped vertebrae mind you.)
Reviresco
Ellis Perks then. Â If he rides like he did at Kent on Monday, great. If he rides like he did against Kent at Perry Barr, not so great. Â No, fantastic option, IMO

Hugely impressive this season and a major reason why Birmingham have done so well.  He's as much PL standard as any of the others riding at No 7.

Super Blue
Hopefully ellis can do a good job for the witches after chris louis kindly loaning us some air fence panels. His form of late is certainly on a upward spiral particularly in the nl  Hopefully you're right, he managed to score in all bar one of his rides on the recent visit of Plymouth so he's probably just about the best choice of those available.  Another choice could have been Nathan Greaves but I couldn't really see Sheffield wanting one of their riders helping us knock them out of the playoff picture.  I hope he does we'll for us.
