Dandelion
Good grief, somebody saying we look a strong team, that's a first, we were the whipping boys home and away early in the season but to be fair since the team changes at home we've looked unbeatable! I still think it'll be a tough test on Thursday and I'll be more than happy with any kind of win if I'm honest. And at this stage of the season it doesn't matter to us if Newcastle take a point or not. I'm going for a 6-10pt margin home win. I think on paper Ipswich look one of the strongest in the league tbh, 3 really good heat leaders, Jacobs at reserve, someone who's scoring pretty big in the El considering who he's against, good second strings and Hume, WHOM I don't know much about (I make myself cringe) Got to admit I think Kerr is a strange guest too but you never know, can George do some team shuffling and put Kus at 5? Since he's been really on form lately and have Kerr at 3? Just noticed that Lewis Kerr got 0 for King's Lynn tonight... Reviresco
Unfortunately, I can't see Danyon featuring on Thursday as he is currently on his way to hospital following a Heat 15 rerun spill whilst captain the GB Lions U23 side at Smallbrook. Shoulder injury and in a lot of pain when I drove his van onto the ferry. Now being transported to Stoke Newington near his home. Tough way for such an incredible season to possibly prematurely end. Get well soon buddy. Onward and Upward.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Gutted for Danyon. He has been great and a big part of the turnaround. Would trade our potential play off place for him not to have got hurt but as thats not an option in the real world lets go out and win it for him. it wouldnt be the first time ipswich have choked.as is said 'its ok to make mistakes so long as you learn from them' We will find out how much we have learnt on Thursday and (hopefully) the next few weeks.
Pob
Poor Danyon , heard about this last night from Macca who was at Smallbrook . Was hoping it wasn't as bad a first thought . Everything will seem better after a good nights sleep well not this time. As others have said been the No7 we have been looking for most of the season shame it looks like his season could be over . Get well soon Danyon What options do the Witches have left now ?
Halifaxtiger
it wouldnt be the first time ipswich have choked. I really can't see it happening here. They were very impressive at Redcar the other night and have a top number one and a top reserve, usually a recipe for success. Kerr for Lambert won't do them any harm, either.
Reviresco
Can't the Witches use riders like Tom Bacon? Or do they recall Darryl? Or Ollie Greenwood out of retirement? James Shanes .... PLEASE let it happen. Does anyone know how Connor Mountain is progressing? Is it very quiet or have I just missed the updates? (Note to self: no sponsorship of riders next season. The macca56 bad luck is transferred and they end up on the crocked list. Mend well Cam and Dan) http://www.birminghambrummies.co/news.php?extend.2362 I sincerely hope he is kidding and listens to advice.
Reviresco
Only Greaves. Bailey and Halsey are at 3 in pl teams Daniel Halsey out of that trio of fine NL riders. He must have got his bad meeting out of the way against Eastbourne at the weekend....
2ndbendbeerhut
Eastbourne are riding Sunday, so are Mildenhall Coventry and BelleVue. I'd go with Shanes for both thursdays meeting and at Newcastle on Sunday.
Baldyman
Please not Halsey.
TheScotsman
Nathan Greaves was very impressive at Ippo last week including taking Jacobs from the back(?!!). If he is eligible he should get the gig. Halsey is not very good.

I'd go with Shanes for both thursdays meeting and at Newcastle on Sunday. Pl get priority over NL? Or is that only if the rider is contracted as a No. 7, as Witches can't sign another one now, can they? You can see I really know the Regs,,,,,,, not. James Shanes...... At l-a-s-t. Though he is protecting a bad back so that may lead him to turn down any approach from CL again. James Shanes - European and Masters Champion and the man with the most amazing autograph in speedway. Smiley Racing, Smiley Racing, la la la la la la.... James Shanes - riding grasstrack on Sunday :-( Halsey is not very good. Isn't he? He is more fun than the other two put together though, :-) Ipswich could beat Newcastle without tracking a No. 7 and with one hand tied behind their backs. Mad Max
Can see this being a close meeting - possibly the two strongest teams on current form in PL Looks like both will now have number 7s unlikely to score many points so down to Team Managers to juggle resources - ultimately this match will be decided on how Kus/pavlova/kerr score
Baldyman
I think we should sue d I d or whatever chain Danyon uses for assisting in the breaking of his collar bone. Halsey is not great a foxhall, The lose of Danyons 6 or more points is going to massif to the scoreline. The lose of Danyon's points, personality and infectious enthusiasm and beaming smile will all count against the witches beating the Diamonds by more than 12 points.
