ruffdiamond
Perhaps we could sign Chris Holder when his average gets low enough. :D is your no.7 not meant to be a Brit ???,,, arr, hold on

DiamondGlory
It was a bit of shock to see a picture of Danny appear on my Facebook timeline, I wondered what the post was about. The news about the injury was just as shocking. Told my American friend (shes also a diamonds/tigers fan) and even she got a bit upset about it. Hope for a speedy recovery, get well soon Danny!! Â On another note, I could be wrong, but didn't something similar happen last season? He was getting better, crashed in the national and it knocked his confidence in the prem? hope it doesn't happen again. He's finally starting to bang in points. Dandelion
I'm sure you aren't the only person to have had that thought, Dandelion... I've had many thoughts..... Which one? xD Â In sorry but that is not a good team at all! Kindt is a waste of time Ehhh, kinda agree, kinda disagree, just couldn't think of another 5-6 point rider other than Jacobs Well..... That's Nathan Greaves out the window..... Well done Ipswich

NJC71
Best wishes to Danny, clearly a very bad injury. Hope he makes as speedy a recovery as possible. Highlights again how tough this sport is. Â Really hard to see what options the Diamonds have. I don't like this 2 point average system as there simply aren't enough riders in the NL who are ready for PL racing as this season has demonstrated already. It's alright saying these young riders need opportunities but scoring zero's every meeting is hardly going to do anything for their confidence. You have to worry that some will be lost to the sport as a result. It is also clearly not beneficial to riders on 3-4 point averages who can't be signed as replacements. The sport is overly governed by numbers and really needs to start thinking of a better system.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Ipswich apparently had extensive talks with Shanes but his other commitments at weekends wouldve meant he would miss upto 18 (yes eighteen) meetings. Â That would I imagine mean he would be off the Diamonds list as well.

Terrace Grumbler
I've had many thoughts..... Which one? xD That we might consider shedding points at the top end to give us potential at reserve.
Dandelion
Was a case of taking the best of what was left I think . Best wishes to Danny sounds like a long road to recovery for him . Didn't even think that Nathan would sign for Ipswich since he rode for the Isle of Wight... Â That we might consider shedding points at the top end to give us potential at reserve. I see, I can definitely see that happening, but I, as well as many others, don't want to see the top 5 changed... But sometimes you need to make sacrifices...
Arson fire
Someone is going to have to be released id think, harshly but theres not much out there to replace the unfortunate phillips  Not quite sure on whos fit or available or averages but  Scenarios like these would give us better balance and stronger at reserve imo  Lindgren/coles out... busk jacobsen, carr & zach w in  Morris out... carr & Morley/Ayres in
Sings4Speedway
Think Morley could certainly do a good job especially at Home & despite struggling for P'Boro IF Tom Bacon became available i think he could also do a very good job for the Diamonds. Mad Max
The only possible direct alternative I can see is Ryan Blacklock (when/if fit) - and before you all shout at me, I'm not saying it's what I want, but the best option available. Robert Lambert 2. Liam Carr 3. Lewis Rose 4. Ludvig Lindgren 5. Steve Worrall 6. Lee Payne/Danny Ayres/Morley 7. Connor Coles  Or maybe when the new averages come out Morris can stay at number 2? Wonder if his and Danny's average will go up high enough to swap Phillips and Morris for Ayres and Jacobs? I dunno, they'd both (Morris and Danny) would have to have reached over 9.06 combined... Which doesn't look likely Edited May 9, 2017 by Dandelion
New era Panthers
Think Morley could certainly do a good job especially at Home & despite struggling for P'Boro IF Tom Bacon became available i think he could also do a very good job for the Diamonds. I don't think Panthers should omit Tom Bacon from the team even if we have to carry him for most of the season , it shows how tough for National league riders moving up to Premier league as NO;7's it really is and should have been expected that it would be a learning curve struggle for most of them , yes it might take time but I think we should persevere and give the time to develop , as examples Danny Phillips at Newcastle and Josh Bailey at Scunthorpe last season.
northyorksbear
Â If that is case then only possible alternative I can see is Lee Payne (when/if Blacklock is fit) Â You couldn't fit Payne in he is 2.61 Â But as he is higher than Blacklock, I don't see that he has to make way when Blacklock fit - unless the Bandits want it
