Newcastle 2017

Would they fit along Lindgren, Kus and Rose should be the real question :P And I don't think it would unless we want two 3.00 reserves, Phillips and Mountain for example don't sound too good

I wish they'd put the average limit back up to 45

How good is Lasse Bjerre around Brough?

great, if your a Diamonds fan and he's in the away team ;)

Oh I see :P The averages seem to have fallen a bit difficult for riders who ride our track well, I can see lots of new faces next year maybe?

Would Lewis Rose have a 5.12 average or a 5.86 average next season? I'm confused by the rules and gb website???

5.86. Just to confuse you even more, I'm not sure if he gets a 2% reduction though!

I thought it was 2.5... XD Also I don't think he will because he's had three years in this league now and next will be his fourth :) (That's my understanding anyway do correct me)

Love to see Rose and Steve back, and I would assume Ludvig would be back, who I'd also love to see, Morris' average looks pretty good for a reserve other than that I think new faces would be nice just to freshen this years team up :)

1. Steve Worrall

2. Lewis Rose

3.

4. Ludvig Lindgren

5.

6. Ashley Morris

7.

As a start, but no one can really guess a team until the final averages are out

wudda thought Kus will be there, after the carry-on we had getting him (unless we can cash in), but really think he should not be paired with 'Lightning',,, 'batman and robin' tune sounds good, but could defo put up without it ;)

So Ludvig at 5 and Kus at 3 maybe?

I would think Lindgren and kus are nailed on as they are assets and they have been a good 3 and 4 ...apart from last night ...

Worrall Deffo..... rose would like him at 2 but he may be feeling jinxed at newcastle...he always gets injured

Morris for me has to be our 6 ... really impressed with the lad ... and faultless in yesterday's debacle

Lambert would love him back but averages and Poland will probably see him go

Pav... has done well but Swedish commitments have been an issue

Philips I'm afraid a big no .... I've seen no improvement ... yes he tries but that's not enough

Got to say the promoters built a team this year to win trophies....but alas its not worked out

When all 7 are there we look powerful .... but for someone who has seen Newcastle ride away in 9 away meetings .... our inability to field a full team has been costly and cost us 2nd place and no Sheffield match.....

This year's team was built to win the playoffs .... I just find it staggering we rode without our number 1 ... it's not Roberts fault.... but it was the major factor in our demise and our 2017 team needs to consider this

Don't forget the KOC :t:

Kus will be in team next season

I'd like to see him in the team tbh, but with his average and Lindgren's average, that might mean no Steve or a very top heavy team

Unfortunately one our four top four will have to go (current gs figure add up to 32.72). Add in Lewis Rose (5.86) and you end up with 38.58. Not even enough room for two 3 pointers. All this is assuming a) points limit stays at 42.50 and B) We are still running seven man teams next year.

One thing is for certain though. We need better fixture planning next year. For example we should be going to likes of Edinburgh/ Somerset on the Fridays of GP weekends when likes of Belle Vue (especially) aren't running.

As an aside, apparently, next year if you ride in Poland they will only let you ride in ONE other European league. That could influence riders on whether they ride there or not. For example Max Fricke, if he signs for a Polish club (in any league), would have to choose between Britain and Sweden. Even more alarming for the Swedes and, less likely, brits is if they have a polish contract they won't be allowed to double up (classed as two leagues) in there own country. does this contravene European law on employment freedom. Don't ask me.

Only the PZM have come out with that, to be honest I`d be amazed if it ever gets off the ground, probably unworkable ans possibly illegal.

I love team building...

But when are we likely to know whether it'll be 6 or7 man teams, and the points limit?

Also I assume that doubling up riders will want to continue to do that, if they're not riding in Poland.

Just a Name out of left(ish) field - I was very impressed with David Bellego round BP this season, great attitude and speed.
