leander
It's a bit harsh to say he was entirely to blame for us not winning the league though. Had he not ridden so well in the majority of the other meetings we probably wouldn't have been in contention anyway. I did a few away meetings that season and can remember him top scoring at Glasgow in a narrow defeat and also riding well at Edinburgh in an away win. I think what really upset a lot of people was the exhibition wheelies at the back at Stoke. Not once, not twice, bur practically every lap of every race. Tsunami
I think what really upset a lot of people was the exhibition wheelies at the back at Stoke. Not once, not twice, bur practically every lap of every race. He certainly had a detrimental affect on his teammates. At Exeter Darryl and i were TM"s and prepared what was going to be said in the team meeting as they were getting ready. We were riding well, and Exeter not as good as usual, so it was going to be a positive 'we can win this one' type of message. We walked with the team across the green toward the main grandstand, only for Watt surveying the track saying "well I'll get nothing here then". Good to his word, he gated about a second after the others in his three races, and packing up just to completely piss the rest of us off. Pinny
As Bandits4eva is hinting at in post#35, Sheffield were at Berwick on the Saturday night before this Sunday Stoke meeting. The Berwick promoter was thought to have 'got Sheffield to win' at Berwick, hence the reason why Neil Machen came to Stoke as, if we lost at Stoke, Sheffield were the champions. which they were then. Dodgy dealings which is why we still think we were winners on 2002 as it meant Sheffield got the title on actual aggregate race points, not the match points. Aggregate points were stopped shortly afterwards after this Sheffield win, plus the Exeter win later. Watts attitude and riding at both Exeter and Stoke that year did him no favours with anybody. What goes around comes around. Â Im sure plenty remember Brent Werner easing to four straight wins as a guest in 2001 for Cunningham (?) and then putting in a piss poor effort in heat 15, vs Newcastle, Giving you a win. Well known that he was handed a brown envolope that day to give Newcastle the win!

Pinny
Not well known at all. If he did he would have done it for nothing for us . Lol. Garbage and you know it. Â Had been untouchable all afternoon and didnt want to know in heat 15, and made a sharp exit almost instantly afterwards. Â As said, what goes around comes around. You often call foul play by other clubs but what happened that day evens it out.

Dandelion
1. Steve Worrall 8.51 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Kyle Newman 6.31 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 5. Rene Bach 7.32 6. Tom Perry 3.76 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 Total 42.41 The new averages have messed up my old team I put together because I didn't expect Kus to rise as much as he did This is what I'd like to see next season if the averages still fit then, 5 Brits too Alternatively, and slightly less realistic 1. Craig Cook 9.88 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Matej Kus 7.55 4. Adam Ellis 4.67 5. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 6. Tom Perry 3.76 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 Total 42.37 Some people would tell me to not bother making a team until the final averages came out, but I like to make them
Dandelion
I know this has nothing to do with Newcastle for 2017, but is there anywhere, apart from the track shop, where I can buy Diamond's DVD's?

screm
So would I Him and Summers would make a great top 2 in my opinion  Don`t think Summers will be leaving Glasgow any time soon, its almost certain that Glasgow will have to lose some of their heat leaders but I think Summers & Lawson are nailed on for staying. How about Newcastle reuniting the Worralls.

screm
that would be great, but would they both fit, alongside Lambert ??? Â Probably wouldnt be able to fit in all three but to further his career I hope Lambert gets a contract in Poland and moves on from our PL, he has the talent.
