full-throttle
I was prepared to give this a go tonight, but if when I get home at 6pm there has been anymore withdrawals then I'll take my hard earned and spend it elsewhere
wealdstone
Would not surprise me if the boys from MDL were called up in the end.

Woz01
Not sure if it's already mentioned but Bomber will be doing photos, autographs and giving away goody bags to the kids before the meeting. This is why I'm determined to go tonight, guys like Bomber and those wanting to ride in this meeting deserve our support.

Star Lady
Not sure who's at fault here. I think we all expected Holder to pull out so did he actually accept the booking or did the BSPA simply not cross his name from the start list.  Which ever it is, it's another indication of the contempt shown for the fans.  If it was Holder pulling out last minute, he isn't injured merely unavailable, a 28 day ban starting on March 15th 2017 is the least I expect. Even if he doesn't ride UK league next year it would stop him taking lucrative early season open meeting bookings  If it was the BSPA , fess up and tell the people who matter.....the ones who pay to watch..
JamieE
Hmm, it's on my doorstep this meeting but think I will now stay in and pay my £8 to watch the first class webcast of Coventry's game at Cardiff in the ice hockey instead, better value for money. He didn't 'pullout last minute' he's been advertising his chickens on Twitter, to anyone who could take them, as he had arranged to fly to Australia, the flight was yesterday. WembleyLion
Like many top line riders, many fans can't be bothered either. Â No excuses from me though, I am available, my van isn't playing up, nobody has insisted I spend the weekend in Poland, I haven't got 24 man flu and wasn't beaten up in the pub last night - I just can't be bothered! Panthers89
Peterborough Greyhounds it is for me. Rather lose money there than give Money to Horton and the jokers who run the sport. If you pull out, ban them, happens every season.
Trees
I don't believe Holder has just pulled out, I reckon he never was riding in it .....
Woz01
Poole must've expected him to ride when they nominated him for the meeting.

Gavan
Same old story with rider after rider pulling out. No point in having this once great meeting anymore if you ask me. Â Poole Pirates........Matt Ford..........again not giving two monkeys about the sport in the UK by the fact that riding for them is their 2 reserves absolutly shocking. Maybe Hans could have rode as he is Lazarus and over his season ending injury. Â Fair play if Iversen rides as he will be the favourite but surely he is on the cut off of the gp's so i wouldnt blame him for giving this a miss now that everyone else has. mdmc82
When you look at the line up for the teams and where their riders are in the team averages.  Belle Vue Cook (2nd). Nicholls (4th)  Coventry King (2nd). Coventry (3rd)  King's Lynn Iversen. (1st). Lambert (2nd)  Lakeside Kennett (2nd). Nilsson (3rd)  Leicester Houggard (2nd). Starke (4th) Klindt is injured  Poole Ellis (6th). Newman (7th)  Swindon Morris (2nd). Tungate (3rd)   Wolves Lindgren (1st). Masters (2nd)   Most teams do have 2 of their top 3 riders riding in it. The line up looks weaker because our league is. Poole are the only ones tracking their lowest averaged riders.  Tonight is also a chance for Bees fans to say their goodbyes to Bomber riding in bees colours and show their support.
