mdmc82
I was pretty much spot on almost although didn't expect Iversen to ride. The funny thing is I don't think some of those riders actually qualified for the Premier League Riders Championship because there averages were too low. What does that say about British Speedway? To be fair, some of these are only in as the riders above them in the averages pulled out. Newman is the lowest rider in Poole's averages but 5 before him must have pulled out or didn't want to ride. Wolves and King's Lynn are the only teams to have their 2 highest average riders. It's still a competitive line up though.
Bagpuss
Christ, that must be the poorest ELRC line up ever, and that's without the inevitable withdrawals.
Panthers89
May aswell call it the PLRC with a few elite league guests and £20 quid??? No thanks, rather go to the dogs as planned and lose money there.

The line up is much better than the PLRC

Panthers89
Nick Morris (Swindon) - premier league standard Chris Harris (Coventry) Niels-Kristian Iversen (King's Lynn) Chris Holder (Poole) Scott Nicholls (Belle Vue) Kyle Newman (Poole) - premier league Craig Cook (Belle Vue) - premier league Sam Masters (Wolverhampton) - premier league Danny King (Coventry) - premier league Kim Nilsson (Lakeside) Patrick Hougaard (Leicester) - could ride in premier league Edward Kennett (Lakeside) - premier league Rohan Tungate (Swindon) - premier league Robert Lambert (King's Lynn) - premier league Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton) Paul Starke (Leicester) - premier league So as I said PLRC with a few elite league riders. I doubt very much the 6 elite league riders will make it to Saturday.

Very poor line up for a ELRC, before he pulls out can`t we just give the title to NKI and be done with it, then at least Kennett and Lambert will be able to turn out for their respective PL clubs in a KOC Semi Final meeting, which I would argue is a bit more significant than this meeting.
wealdstone
Going on past experience most will pull out but the public will not be aware of whom until they arrive at the Stadium .
Trees
Going on past experience most will pull out but the public will not be aware of whom until they arrive at the Stadium . On past experience the Lynn reps have done great at the ELRC lately Nick Morris (Swindon) - premier league standard Chris Harris (Coventry) Niels-Kristian Iversen (King's Lynn) Chris Holder (Poole) Scott Nicholls (Belle Vue) Kyle Newman (Poole) - premier league Craig Cook (Belle Vue) - premier league number one Sam Masters (Wolverhampton) - premier league number one Danny King (Coventry) - premier league number one Kim Nilsson (Lakeside) Patrick Hougaard (Leicester) - could ride in premier league Edward Kennett (Lakeside) - premier league number one Rohan Tungate (Swindon) - premier league Robert Lambert (King's Lynn) - premier league number one Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton) Paul Starke (Leicester) - premier league So as I said PLRC with a few elite league riders. I doubt very much the 6 elite league riders will make it to Saturday. As we all know pretty much all the BPL number ones are heat leaders in the BEL, these two positions mean they are very good riders. Not sure about Tungate but he has certainly proved a match winner in the EL this season ....

I think you're being a bit unfair as there are some riders in your list that you can't really class as Premier League when they actually ride in the Elite League too ~ like Danny King, Craig Cook, Kyle Newman, Sam Masters, Rohan Tungate, Robert Lambert etc., but I get your point about how many top riders are missing from the line up. Be interesting to see if Chris Holder turns up or gets a sudden bout of 24 hour flu.
Joe Beevers
Mind you, we are all complaining about the line up yet it's still far stronger than the British Final. Again what does that say for British speedway. Got to fancy Holder, Iversen and Lindgren here with Harris or even King as a spoiler. Anyone else would be a suprise tbh. Mark
Poole are good for British Speedway we're told. As they send their number 7 to represent them in the ELRC they are also sending their No1. Andersen would have ridden if fit. At least Newman will have a right go in every race and is good to watch. mdmc82
A lot of moaning on here. £20 is a good price for the meeting and there aren't going to be meetings for several months. I think there are rider who should produce some good races and some I enjoy seeing at Brandon (a few I don't) Count me in 👍🏻
Joe Beevers
Poole are good for British Speedway we're told. As they send their number 7 to represent them in the ELRC As have Leicester so I don't really see the point. Who said Poole are good for speedway? You should really ignore the rubbish from the odd fan. I have heard far worse and stranger things about this sport from an odd fan and had nothing to do with Poole. Just pure beer talk some of them unfortunately.
SCB
You going? Being the mug I am, yes! they are also sending their No1. Andersen would have ridden if fit. At least Newman will have a right go in every race and is good to watch. Where are Buczkowski and Kurtz? Also convenient how Bjarne is down to ride in the Blue Ribband! Ellis got a family picnic to attend? As it is I like Kyle but it doesn't look good on Poole when they have to send their number 7! As have Leicester so I don't really see the point. Who said Poole are good for speedway? You should really ignore the rubbish from the odd fan. I have heard far worse and stranger things about this sport from an odd fan and had nothing to do with Poole. Just pure beer talk some of them unfortunately. Leicester are a joke and most of their fans know it tbf. Yet some Poole fans seem to think everything Poole does is amazing and for the good of the sport. Not the strongest line up but some of these riders ride Brandon extremely well. 5 will ride in Melbourne and some others have appeared on the World stage this year. £20 seems a decent price to me and even more so kids are free, 7 of my family are going to attend.
