ytsejam
Always admired Hancock for all he has done over the years but what a spoilt brat reaction from him, disgraceful behaviour from the newly crowned champion.

ytsejam
Hancock.. taking his ball home. Disgrace. No respect for the paying public. Agree, but was that another "tactical choice" so that he gifted his team mate Woffendon 3 points in that last heat?
Steve0
He has withdrawn from the meeting
Midland Red
Has to be some punishment for Hancock - this is in front of a worldwide audience A fine probably wouldn't hurt It has to be some sort of ban or points penalty for 2017 GPs
Hilly
Lindgren helping his fellow Swede Lindback??? Wheres it all gunna end?
nw42
He's a disgrace - and the whole world now knows it Well I wouldn't go that far but he's certainly let himself down just there. I doubt he will care in the long run but at least they didn't mess around with retrospective punishment and actually showed some teeth. Ok I take that back, he is now a disgrace to the sport, pulling out of the meeting should cost him dearly, I'd love it if he were stripped of the title but I doubt it will go that far.
Mark
Good stuff from Scott Nicholls and Natalie. No fence sitting but doing it in a constructive way.
SteveLyric2
Always a silver lining in any situation - we get to see Jack Holder go for more GP points!! :-)
SCB
Glad I got up for it now. Hancock, hahaha! What a twit. So much for nice guy, the guy has just rubbish on the Aussie fans by having a sulk!
BritPete
The problem is, that sort of tactic has been going on for decades with no, or very little action being taken. Now the precedent has bèen set in the series, will they continue with it?
Undercover Elephant
The crowd here seem completely unaware he's pulled himself from the meeting
Popular Post John Leslie
So 30 mins after winning the world title we have a disgraced cheat as world champion. ...and then 10 minutes later a dummy spitting brat of a world champion who can't face up to what damage he's just done to the sport. Agree with Natalie and Scott. Holder should have his points deducted too, but there's nothing in the rules to allow that
tellboy
Well i think Hancock is being very childish pulling out of the meeting because he has got disqualified in one race. His pulling out has an impact on riders finishing in the top 3 and also in the top 8 depending on who he had left to face. For instance would Janowski have got a point if he faced Hancock and not Fricke, could have a bearing on the top 8. Someone said he should have had an E/F,but he didnt want Smarzlik to get any more points so couldnt do that. BWitcher
Greg Hancock @GregHancock45 18s19 seconds ago Hey all, thank you for all you do for me & our great sport! I'm so excited on becoming World Champ again. Thanks to the FIM Jury as well. Again, this would land you in trouble in any professional sport.
