Kings Lynn V Poole Elb 13/09/16

Recommended Posts

Is there any news when Hans is going to be fit again, or is he out for the season now?

It appears his operation went well and i believe he is hoping to be fit for the Euro Champs meeting at the weekend but i think that is more in hope than expectation. I hope he makes the playoffs so we could have our full team and i am sure he wouldn't let anyone down if he was fit.

If Hans rides on Saturday then his injury cannot be classed as 'season-ending' unless he aggravates the hand again and withdraws from all other racing - allowing MF just a few days prior to 21st to bring in the rider who is on standby!!

NB. I think Poole have a better chance of getting something out of BV tonite rather than at the Adrian Flux tomorrow. Chris Holder will be 'cream crackered' on his 4th big meeting in 4 days. Buzz will still be nursing his wrist injury after over-riding to impress at BV and Bjarne will not have the speed for the big Arena track!!. ;-) ;-)

Such is the history surrounding Poole's interpretation of the rules, there will always be those with suspicion of any replacements. My ideas of Clubs bringing in extra quality to compete in the Play-offs is totally and morally wrong and does nothing but devalue any competition. But the rules allow it.

For clubs like Poole, who will explore every avenue to win, the rule is there for them to abuse......

Tai Woffinden. You should be attacking Wolverhampton, not Poole.

So Poole need to win at Kings Lynn tomorrow night to secure second in the league. Well worth it as, firstly, it gives us the second leg of the semi, and secondly, should Belle Vue fail to qualify for the final, it would give us the second leg of the final.

Would be great to go out with a win, particularly against the Pirates .....

Can't hide my disappointment of NKI not being there but there ya go, Tuesday Sweden!

Danny King comes in so fingers crossed he rides to his best as do all our Stars on the night, hoping for some good racing And no bricks flying!

The photo sesh should be a hoot and the Supporter's Club are presenting the Rider of the Year awards as voted for by members and a few other fans :)[/quote

I am doing team/fan photo, sunset is 19.17hrs so please don't be late. The photo will be taken at exactly 19.00 hrs before light goes.

I think we need to get 4 points to get second but should be able to do that.

Really

Glad he did though!

No Niels : (

I wonder if we'll ever get to see him ride for the Stars again. Can't blame him for walking away now as this season has been an utter shambles.

Hope he comes back though, if not it makes sense for us to drop down to the Premier League and use our asset base rather than struggle in the EL without a true No.1 and not willing to break the bank to sign 'big names' which is fair enough.

We've had some cracking wins versus Poole in recent times, none more so when Niels and Magic grabbed a last heat 5-1, how times have changed....
