Little Thumper
In his latest sparsely paragraphed monologue, Jason Pipe suggests that Buxton may "just pip them!" Looking at the Hitmen's team, I think that the chances of that are slim to nil. At this stage (7 a.m. on Sunday), there appears to be nobody in the No 1 slot, Shelby Rutherford has had his bikes stolen and dumped in a ditch and Kean Dicken may find himself a little out of his depth. I'm sure Cradley will show some mercy and use their No 8 for the RRs but even so, I predict a Cradley win by 18 points. I think that the good people at Buxton will be glad to see the end of this dreadful season and I hope that the Buxton Hitmen will still be around in 2017. Just my opinion, obviously. Little Thumper
Buxton's number 1 is Tom Woolley. Where do you get this information from? I look on the Buxton website and it doesn't tell me. All credit to little Buxton for doing rather better than I had anticipated and only losing by 11 rather than 18. Lee Geary even won a race.........hooray! You have got to say that the Clegg & Morris combo is pretty damn good. Congratulations to the Heathens. Clegg and Morris are a decent pairing but when they go somewhere with a good top 4 and average reserves they will struggle because other than Morris and Clegg there's not much else. Little Thumper
Cradley's site. Thank you for that information, Islander15. I have said it before but at the risk of appearing repetitive, why do teams bother having websites if they can't be bothered to use them to pass information to their supporters? If I want to know about a certain product, I would not expect to have to go trawling round competitors' sites to find the information. There are times when I think that the paying supporter is treated with utter contempt and surely it would only take a couple of minutes to bung something up on the website so that the club supporter might feel well-informed and develop a closer bond between the fan and their team. Unless small clubs get their act together and start implementing all the low cost measures at their disposal to maintain/increase their customer base then I do not hold out much hope for their survival. Just my opinion, obviously.

Just my opinion, obviously. not just your opinion , i think they now expect all the fans to be on twitter/ facebook etc which is so easy and instant that there's no real hurry to update the websites. Well, I choose not to do Farcebook and Twatter so that's bad luck for me. If they can't be bothered to keep their websites updated, they should take them down. RS50
Have tried getting some info from their twitter link, but when I try get message telling me to log in. Don't have a twitter account. Surely they do not want to lose fans just because they do not have certain social media accounts. Would also be curious to know if (and when) Buxton intend to race any outstanding home matches. Getting near to end of season.

You try and overlook all the shortcomings but the fact that they can't even take the time to try and involve their pretty loyal supporters has finished me. I shall go and support the Stoke Potters this weekend and although they will probably get well beaten by the Kent Kings at least they seem to put a little bit more effort into it. Just my opinion, obviously.

Little Thumper
You don't have to log in.I don't have a Twitter account and I can see it. I bow to your superior knowledge in this area, martin_t. However, if I log on to Twatter or simply view one of their pages, they will still attempt to track me. I resent that. So if a club can't make the effort to use the website that somebody has taken the time to create for them then I will remain in blissful ignorance.
