g13webb
I see we've drafted in Cookie to cover for Chris Holder at Somerset this week. Bearing in mind the way Chris is riding of late, in my reckoning that will make us stronger.... Might get something after all...
Aroundtheboards
I see Somerset Speedway has been deprived of the presence of Chris Holder when the Stars come - a - calling on Friday. The one thing I was looking forward to when we entered the Premiership was the chance to see such top class riders as Chris, last Friday we deprived or our own Paddy Hougard and the week before we were begrudged KK gracing the Oaktree shale. The paying public are being sold short and promoters are simply doing no better than hiring cardboard cut-outs when the engage these Euro-Hoppers !!! It's a rip-off for the Speedway paying public and is only destined to get worse !!! Imagine the riots if Premiership Football Clubs took to the field without their star striker week in week out because he had commitments in Europe !!! Fair enough if they happen to be representing their country but for any other reason it sucks !!! I know Chris in the GP but it does not alter the fact that we miss out for the bigger bucks !!! Seems strange that Lynn have to go to Somerset on a GP weekend when there are so few GP riders in the UK. As you say it's the fans that miss out.

Bagpuss
Six non GP Fridays needed to accommodate Lynn, Swindon and Wolves twice each at Somerset between March and September. Surely that could have been managed? Same for Rye and Leicester too.

waytogo28
One more step completed Robert! Onwards and upwards towards inevitable greatness. Every step up the ladder takes time and within five years or very likely three, the GP and full recognition of him as a world class rider awaits. Go Lambo! Ellis would never have been favourite whoever he was riding for, Lambert is a far better rider.
Aces51
Congratulations to Robert Lambert. It's good to see a young Brit who looks as if he has the skill and talent to progress to the top of the sport. It is also encouraging that we now seen to have a few other young Brits who are not too far behind him.

Haza
Well after a shocker tonight 59-30 at Wolves I think some serious questions need answering first of all why is Chris Holder riding so poor in a weak league he should be banging in 10-12 a meeting . The middle order Porsing and Batch blow hot and cold and the lack of a proper no7 is costing the club dear and again I question the team manager I still say he's not the man for the job .
