Bald Bloke
Rory would be the ideal man to replace Rob if he indeed does leave which seems likely but sadly how things ended with Rory and the promotion I doubt he will step foot back into a role at Kings Lynn . My guess Rory could end up replacing Havelock at Brandon - Dale for me isn't the right person doesn't carry enough respect with the riders in my opinion . Been away for a bit.How can Rory manage Lynn and ride for someone else,or has he quit riding?
Trees
not been around long enough not managed the national team for instant won bugger all trophy wise - so how the hell do you think he would be good for the team ? and have contacts for signing new riders .Sorry not the right man for the job He's been around speedway for a long time, how does any manager become national team manager without being a team manager for starters? How do you know what contacts he has? Seems to me you've made your mind up with no good reason ......

Can't agree with any of that at all. When Rob joined us he never came in with superstar credentials, he was a nobody. As a TM you don't need contact's, that's Buster's job as Promoter. Finding someone with trophies is tough as all are taken by existing clubs. The Young Stars lads have nothing but good words for Allitt and was highly praised for his time at Peterborough. Col
 I certainly hope not..... That would be the final nail....  I assume he lives in the North of the UK, where he is from? From where I live on the outskirts of Wolverhampton without traffic issues I can get to Coventry in just over an hour. It would take at least 3 hours to get to Kings Lynn. I doubt that would be a drive Havelock would endure.
Woz01
Havvy will manage up north probably Redcar.
Bagpuss
Surely Schlein will be riding next year anyway so it's moot, he can line up in the PL next year. Would love to see some facts about this 'conversation' which took place between Buster & Rory as these tales usually have two sides to them, and Schlein is well known to be forthright in his opinions. Â As for Dale I think he has earned a crack at the TM job.

Totally agree with Hazza, the riders don't respect him and that information has come off a very good source ! Nowhere near good enough for Kingslynn first team should stick with the young stars in my opinion.
g13webb
How does anyone know who good or bad a team manager Schlein would be? Â That's a 64 dollar question, but as the job goes Rory would be an idea candidate. Renowned for his motivational skills, when captain, he stood head and shoulders above everyone else in getting all the team to perform. Probably with a bit of luck against all them injuries, when we were 30 points ahead a few yrs back we could have easily won the league that year. Until that major accident, Rory was making a big difference, just by being there.... Â His world wide contacts would be a godsend, and could be the difference on getting in new talent who want to improve.... Buster is OK but has too much on his plate to worry about chasing riders for the Stars. he needs to delegate.... Â Rory would demand respect from the riders, He's ' Been there done that' and would help in all manner of ways. Nobody would argue his ability and experience. Â No, nobody could guarantee anybody to be a successful Team Manager, but nobody would be better qualified for the job than RORY!!

Nowhere near good enough for Kingslynn first team should stick with the young stars in my opinion. absolutely I agree 100% - Dale should stick with what he's good at NL - let's hope Rob stays but I very much doubt he will I sorry to say - as some have said Rory hasn't retired so that would rule him out if he's still riding - and I doubt he would step foot back into the Kings Lynn corner of the pits either after how he was treated and spoken too but he would command respect from the riders his motivation skills are second to none or they was as club captain and he would with out doubt have contacts in Europe and Australia . I'm sorry if some don't agree but Dale doesn't come close given the choice of Rob carrying on as team manager or Rory (slim chance or no chance of it happening ) Dale would in my option be bottom of the pile .
