ray c
Proof that you can build a decent side with a top notch number one. Obviously there are issues with Holder and Ford and it wouldn't surprise me if Holder never rode for Poole again. This Lynn team looks strong and may well start favourites im sure we could have built quality side around chris as well i always thought its more than averages anyway said before kings lynn gain our lose i await replys from the usual subjects
g13webb
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening last night. As expected a full house showed again the interest the Stars generate. Buster spoke about alll the work going on behind the scenes and assured all that solutions to both BV and Leicester were imminent. Hoping one would be finalised this coming week. Up to the interval was taken up with news and information of club and personnel changes, and what is hoped for the future. A short break to replenish your glass, then it was down to the real business of team selections. Â All announcements went as we had all imagined. Huckenbeck and Lambert sent messages apologising for their absence, but well pleased to be in the team again.. Porsing and Rose were the first to be introduced, both expressing the desire to improve on last year, before the arrival of Batchelor. He breezed in like a breath of fresh air. So vibrant and alert. you could see the happiness all over his face. It was obvious he was pleased to be part of the team. he explained his poor form last year and wants to put it to bed. He said he was doing a full season in Aussie land and expects to be at full fitness for when our season starts in March. He expects to do much better this year.... Â Finally the arrival of our new No1. I don't know if he expected such a generous applause but he received a huge welcome. Taking centre stage ( even Buster gave up his chair) He thanked KL for the opportunity to continue racing in the UK and assured us he welcomes the new challenge that lays ahead. It wasn't long before Troy got involved bantering all the questions Chris was being asked. It was obvious there is a big friendship there and this spirit can only benefit the whole team. From the oft, it was like a new beginning all smile and jokes, something we have rarely seen. Â When Chris was asked about the reasons he left Poole , he said obviously the loaded average was an issue but it was not the whole story. Not wanting to air his dirty washing, he said he wants to move on now and give his all for KL and cant wait to ride against his old club where he has points to prove........... Interesting....... Â Welcome to Kings Lynn Chris... I'm sure you'll be just fine.... Â Â Really enjoyed a good night....

Trees
Good side seems to have rattled one or two bluenoses....I sure hope so haha, they so need to be brought down a peg or two, success has gone to their heads! Holder has always had a good welcome at Lynn, as a Pirate an all, I'm sorry his inclusion has come about because of Niels being dictated to by the Poles, but he's a great rider, likes Lynn and now has a point to prove. Of course Batch will enjoy having Chris in the team, Aussies always stick together and so they should. I really do hope Batch can get back to his best, he certainly seemed happy last night 😊 Edited December 17, 2016 by Trees

Everyone knows there was an issue between Ford and Holder and the averages was a handy smokescreen. Jester
Was there any mention of the rumoured track changes to improve the racing?
Sidney the robin
In the past some promoters/riders have not got on but they have put there differences to one side the club always comes first. For me Poole do not realise yet what they are MISSING Chris should of finished his career at Poole.Oh well King's Lynn's gain and fair play to them also Holder will enjoy riding on a better and more consistent home track he will take alot of beating at Saddlebow.Does this show that Ford makes mistakes just like anybody else ? and to let Chris go and rely on K.K and Andersen is a risky ploy in my book.
Steve Shovlar
So Chris Holder and Troy Batchelor can come all the way to Kings Lynn from Australia, but Lambert can't make it from up the road? Â Poor show from the lad. Is he still going to be snogging his girlfriend in the pits between his heats or is Rob Lyon going to ban her as she is clearly a distracton. Â I for one wish Noddy the very best for 2017. I shall still support him in the GPs and hope he brings his A Game to the UK. Â Kings Lynn gave put together a much better team than last season. With a superstar in Holder leading the team lets hope the crowd respond and turn up in good numbers. Â They should make the playoffs if they ride to their ability. Â Good to hear Belle Vue and Leicester are running. Anything said about Coventry?

From what I heard it all stemmed back to last Christmas and New Year and Holder upset Matt with drunken behaviour at a party. The two have fallen out and not got on all season. Whilst they miht have had a professional relationship its no good continuing if you are niggling and whinging all the time. I have heard that Chris can be quite high maintenance. Perhaps a break can improve relationships and restore friendships.
Bagpuss
Lambert on a skiing holiday. Â I'd be concentrating on your own team's potential shortcomings rather than concerning yourself about how distracted Robert may or may not be. He'll carry on developing nicely in an environment he's happy in. Â Merry Christmas.

hyderd
t The one thing it does show though is, M Ford plays the fiddle and not any 1 rider. Â That aside, K/Lynn have put a good side together and if the track is prepared like the way we all know it can be, then K/Lynn fans are in for a real entertaining season ahead. Â Good luck.

So you think its acceptable a rider is canoodling in the pits with his girlfriend between his races? Do you think its professional and acceptable?  So you think its acceptable a rider is canoodling in the pits with his girlfriend between his races? Do you think its professional and acceptable? I stand on the first bend at Lynn and often look in the pits between races and have never seen him 'canoodling'. I'm not a fan of hangers on but perhaps her presence is beneficial to him on race night, if it wasn't I can't imagine she would still be attending.  Yep, potential question marks over most of your riders. Will Kurtz pull his finger out away from home, is Andersen past his best, what if Klindt doesn't gate, can KK be arsed, how will Holder cope with the step up etc etc.
therefused
Its been well reported. Oh so you havent seen it? Shock horror in shovlar stirring rubbish again. You seem to have in for Lambert anyway, is that because hes not tempted by Frauds chequebook?
Daniel Smith
Its been well reported. Â Is these the well reported stories by Jackanory? Â Never heard such nonsense as all hangers on should be removed from the pits prior to meetings, it's regulation.
