King's Lynn Stars 2017

Recommended Posts

It's funny, a crowd puller but Matt didn't want him ..... maximums most weeks, still didn't want him ....

In Darcy's interview in your Bournemouth Echo he says had he been racing still he'd have had a high average, would Matt have included Darcy in his team or not I wonder?

Maximum's most weeks??! Look at first couple of months of last season. He was struggling it was Hans who was riding like no1 then and slightly covering for him so we were still winning meetings.

I thought Matt was very open in his reasons about not using Holder in 2017. So fair play to him for that cos he didn't have to.

If Holder is in I'll be chuffed to bits

I certainly hold no fears that he'll come to King's Lynn just to reduce his average.

An around 9 average and it's job done.

People need to get the converted averages out of their minds as for most riders they'll not be achievable.

The team averages are to drop to 42.00 for the first greensheets.

This is the figure that should be in mind and whether the team built can surpass that figure and I believe (if we have) the team below it most certainly will.

2016 EL ave (2017 Converted)

1. Chris Holder 8.95 (12.53)

2. Nikolas Porsing 4.99 (6.99)

3. Troy Batchelor 5.26 (7.36)

4. Lewis Rose 5.00 (6.12)

5. Robert Lambert 7.08 (8.92)

6. Kai Huckenbeck 3.67 (5.14)

7. Josh Bailey 3.00 (2.05)

37.95 (49.11)

If thats the 1-7 then that is one heck of a good team and possible title favourites.

Holder and Lambert as good as KK and Hans

Batch will be stronger than Jack Holder.

Porsing and an improving Rose not quite as good as Kurtz and Newman

Huckenbeck and Bailey as good as if not better than Klindt and Shanes.

Top 4 to me looks like Wolves , Rye House , Kings Lynn and Poole with Coventry 5th

I don't follow Holder, just repeating what your fellow Poole fan said.

What reasons did Matt give?

Well Chris did alright from July onwards but still had a few dodgy away meetings! Matt said about him having personal problems (considering how much Watt's personal problems affected him, probably didn't want to risk it again with another rider!) Also he didn't seem to want to have a poor balanced side for the sake of one rider. Also get the feeling he felt bad for keeping KK out of the team for so long so wanted to give him another shot.

Kings Lynn must be one of Holders best tracks, always been dynamite round there since his IOW days...

Must be nice for him getting away from the motocross track down by the sea.

Tbf he did say all UK tracks were rubbish (I used a more polite word than he did! ;) ) so that includes KL! :)

Told ya.

The management are after the following 1-7. I know. Just like I told you about holder ages ago.

1. C. Holder

2. Rose

3. Batchelor

4. Porsing

5. R. Lambert

6. Huckenbeck

7. Bailey

:icon_smile_clown:

Klindt and Shanes are better than Huckenbeck and Bailey.

You haven't got a clue, that team has been rumoured for ages and it certainly wasn't you that first put it on here

Holders loan fee will be about 4 times that of Klidnt. So i'm not worried about that. Swindon paid loads for Ward and I mean a lot of money.

I am sure the management of Swindon or Poole thought we will have to tell poolebolton how much Swindon paid  .

Why are some people always comparing any team people they suggest against Poole.

Gavin for one seems to mention Poole in virtually all his posts.

Discussing teams is great but at this time of the year nobody knows anything. Racing starts in March and that is the time we will start to see if the promoter s have made the correct pick.

I'm sure it will be, if not more. Once Klindt's average has outlived it's usefulness that'll be a season's loan fee for a couple of months.

Piss off back to the Poole thread you lot lol

Well said ............ a few of em acting like spoilt brats now that their much esteemed No1 looks like he may ride elsewhere ............... all of a sudden he becomes crap in their eyes!

If Holder does sign for KL there won't be many that beat him at the NA that's for sure ................. as already mentioned he's always been dynamite around the KL track!
