foreverblue
NKI wont be back, Holder would just be in average reduction mode so he can ride for Poole next year, same as Kurtz. Strength in depth is the way to go for the Stars, time for Lambert to step up & be a #1. R. Lambert 8.92 Batchelor 7.36 Michelsen 8.06 Porsing 6.99 Lawson 8.22 Huckenbeck 5.14 S. Lambert 5.26 Who said Kurtz would ride for Kings Lynn?Hope he isnt trying to reduce his average next year!! Gambo
Nobody knows of the format or the rules for next year. The only reason Holder has a high average is because of the loading put on Elite riders. I think it is wrong of you to tar all riders with the same brush. Having been dropped this year I cant imagine Holder would be too keen on helping Matt Ford out as you say. Holder needs to earn a living wage and will score plenty of points.... I'm of no doubt that if he rides in the Premier next year he will be one of the top riders....... No worries....... The format for next year is the pre-FDR format. (As used in the PL last year) Not sure if the lowest average reserve has to be at 7 and/or whether No.7 'Protection' for Heat 4 will be maintained. We known what the format (2017) is, we were discussing the option of having Holder on board for that season. My response was talking of the format to be use in (2018) and nobody knows that yet......... Please keep up if you wish to post an opinion

LisaColette
If Kurtz knew maybe he should have told Matt and then we could have got Holder to drop his average
Trees
If Kurtz knew maybe he should have told Matt and then we could have got Holder to drop his average Sounds as though he planned to not have Holder in his team from last season given the Vaculik link .... Speedball
Relieved to see no Holder at Somerset. Surely a choice between us, Leicester or Belle Vue should he still want to ride in the UK.

Looking at that Somerset team, I bet Holder is relieved to not announced there as well.
mrss
No B W D at Somerset. I would like to see him in the Stars line up.
g13webb
With each team that is announced for 2017, it is quite a relief that the riders, a lot of supporters have earmarked for the Stars quad are still available, giving us plenty of reasons to be optimistic and enthusiastic about our hopes for the coming year. The location, Holder chooses to ride, really holds the key for many teams. Of the 3 remaining, namely Belle Vue, Leicester and Kings Lynn they can all offer him top status to lead the team . Thinking about the track, Airport and facilities then BV must come high on the list. If he wants a real challenge then Leicester really does need a talisman to lead from the front and encourage the team forward. But if he wants to ride for a solid club with their own track then it will be Lynn. there are not many track abouts that are open everyday to practice and getting the bike set up for the meetings in Europe. All Clubs will have to meet his financial demands, but am hoping the track availability will swing it... Although I had hoped he would come to Lynn, my original thought was Somerset. Now they have announced their side, my next fear is BV. Fingers crossed...

g13webb
Leicester will be. Considering the location of the Leicester track, probably the noise factor could come into play if the club wanted to practise during the day.!!! Am just trying to evaluate the situation, but am hoping, Leicester gets all the help they require to make it a going concern.
stevebrum
Leicester will be. Leicester certainly hold regular training sessions but not open every day. No different to Scunthorpe for example.
beckettlion
Leicester certainly hold regular training sessions but not open every day. No different to Scunthorpe for example. It has been open for riders to practice should they want to in recent years though.. I know Wozniak took the opportunity to use the track to get more laps in, for example

The track can be used between 08:00-22:30 daily - there is a limitation on actual meetings of 50 - Practice does not constitute a meeting. This is to prevent crowds, parking as well as noise en mass becoming too common.
