ray c
Hmmm could Chris Holder be in the team? He did tweet about things getting better or looking up. Depends if it is speedway related?I thought the same
tellboy
No way should any of those poles be a 5. And do u really think they would want to ride here, other than for silly money? Agree with you,but the Danes shouldn't come in on a 5 neither. But it looks like the one at Swindon has.

tellboy
But he is nowhere near the standard of those poles if you look at performances in foreign leagues or the u21 champs. This is the main reason i mentioned P.Hansen in the Lynn line-up.Because he would have to be on a 5 surely. And looking at some of his displays he maybe the best young Dane out there. waiheke1
Yep p Hansen had more potential than Rose imo. But in terms of 2017 for lynn, surely Rose is the better/safer option.

No good playing safe, got to speculate to accumulate.Just think Hansen could put more on his 5 average than what Rose could put on his 6.12 imo.
Haza
Has anyone considered other than me a locally based rider Kenneth Hansen ? Perhaps it's just me but I think he'd be a great signing .
kelvinht
If not holder or nki, what about andreas jonsson?
poolebolton
If not holder or nki, what about andreas jonsson? Not riding in UK. AJ said he will not ride. Â Holder is a brilliant rider and still wished we signed him but he is a risk. First half of last season was not great and will he give his all for Kings Lynn. Darcy did for Somerset so why not, but part of me thinks could take a year out and focus on GP for the year.
Joe Beevers
Great signing in Huckenbeck. Â If he is at reserve, I think he will be the best in the league. Â Just get the feeling that Kings Lynn are waiting on other clubs to see what pans out and there are still a lot of riders from last year without a contract. Â I think Batchelor will sign but anyones guess after that.
g13webb
The signing of a strong No1 is paramount and Holder fits the bill perfectly. This would come at a financial cost of some stature. This being the case then other positions in the team will have to be adjusted accordingly. No doubt Rose would be a much cheaper option than Hansen, but not so much of a gamble, so bearing in mind the No1 importance, Rose inclusion seems quite a safe bet... Â At the end of last season, when talking with Batch, he said I'll see you all next year. he continued that he still has some boxes to tick!!! So from that I gathered he intends to ride here next year. I appreciate nothing is cast iron facts but if your intention is here than we are half way to a contract.... Â Speedway at Lynn wouldn't be the same without Robert Lambert. He needs Lynn as much as Lynn need him. This should be the year when he cements himself as a true NO 1 in the sport. With the right attitude and equipment, he could become unbeatable, and next year when Poole will want Holder back, we would already have a perfect replacement. Â If we can get those three, plus the 2 already mentioned, then adding Holder and a new reserve to the mix we would have a strong team, that others would be aware of and a top 4 place could be achievable.
Danny Connor
I like rose but not 6 plus.id like him more on a 5 . I can't see him being a good consistent 2 nd string or when he drops to reserve I can't see him being a meeting winner. But he's a local lad so why not I guess. Â I've got a mate on my bend who always rates Kenneth Hansen. I don't really see it myself though. You are as good as your results and to me. His average in the old premier league says it all. He may improve at Peterborough but I don't see him being a much better rider than inconsistent 2nd string in the top league. Inconsistency is actually the thing that worries me slightly already with Kai and Porsing. We need some solid reliable heat leaders now really. waiheke1
Rose did fine as 2nd string last year, will do fine this year. If he drops to reserve he will be one of the strongest in the league. Edited December 4, 2016 by waihekeaces1
Bagpuss
Rose was one of the few bright spots last year and would deserve his spot for next season.
Trees
He was one of only 3 riders in the running for Rider of the Season voted for by fans so I would hope he'll be in!!
Danny Connor
Maybe I'm playing devils advocate a little bit. You could say the same for Eric Riss in the 2nd string and reserve position too though and he is looking to double up. Milik (i think). Poole haven't Announced Newman yet either. these all have similar averages! Its a shame Roses average is as high as it is because in my opinion there are other riders out there! i hope we stick with him because i like him! He's a tryer and comes across as a nice guy. local too. Give him a chance to push on and improve. I hope I'm proved wrong and he ends the season with a 6+ average because i feel the others i mentioned would. But that would be 3 riders signed who can score both low and high! i really hope we sign a couple of strong heat leaders, lambert and bailey/other young prospect  Neils/holder Rose? Lambert Porsing Cook Huckenbeck Bailey.  if fits/ if not then drop rose Edited December 4, 2016 by Danny Connor
Bagpuss
I'd really like to see Riss in a Lynn race suit, would be a great signing. No chance on Cook if Belle Vue run and Batchelor must be a shoe in with his links to Mr Warnes.
Col
NKI wont be back, Holder would just be in average reduction mode so he can ride for Poole next year, same as Kurtz. Â Strength in depth is the way to go for the Stars, time for Lambert to step up & be a #1. Â R. Lambert 8.92 Batchelor 7.36 Michelsen 8.06 Porsing 6.99 Lawson 8.22 Huckenbeck 5.14 S. Lambert 5.

Nobody knows of the format or the rules for next year. The only reason Holder has a high average is because of the loading put on Elite riders. I think it is wrong of you to tar all riders with the same brush. Having been dropped this year I cant imagine Holder would be too keen on helping Matt Ford out as you say. Holder needs to earn a living wage and will score plenty of points....  I'm of no doubt that if he rides in the Premier next year he will be one of the top riders....... No worries.......
