Sings4Speedway
So, something like??: 1. Nilsson 9.63 2. Rose 6.12 3. Schlein © 7.17 4. Porsing 6.99 5. Lambert 8.92 6. Kerr 5.98 7. Huckenbeck 5.14 Ave: 49.95 Decent looking side that Schlein or no Schlein. With a lot of teams building top heavy and being left exposed at reserve i think a team with a strong 6&7 all season could really prosper. Daniel Smith
All these negative comments about Dale Allitt remind me of the comments made when Rob was first appointed.....just saying Absolutely, in fact Dale has more experience than what Rob had when he took over 1st team duties. I didn't have a scooby who Rob was, someone just said he was on of Topinka's sponsors. I see no reason not to give Dale the chance.
lynnboy
Should of been Ollie Allen but guess we will see how the season goes. Not a good start though in my eyes
Bunce
I thought it was an excellent statement of intent from Dale on the Stars/BSPA web site. Although I thought Olly Allen would be a good choice, it stands to reason that Dale was always going to be favourite for the position. I wish him well in his new position, and lets hope he is the excellent communicator the Rob has been over the last few years.

In my experience (which includes being in the pits with the Young Stars) he's not only a very decent, reasonable bloke with a passion for speedway he's also a damn fine team manager as well. Thoroughly deserved

bigcatdiary
I don't see why so many Lynn fans have it in for Dale, nice bloke and does a good job.
Star Lady
I don't see why so many Lynn fans have it in for Dale, nice bloke and does a good job. Must admit I'm confused as well. I've seen Olly Allen mentioned instead but I'm pretty sure he won't know the rule book as well and I'm not one who thinks riders take too much notice of what TMs or even captains tell them once the tapes actually go up. Bagpuss
I don't see why so many Lynn fans have it in for Dale, nice bloke and does a good job. To be fair it's only the odd one or two. Good appointment IMO, the management of the club is in good hands with good people involved, let's hope they are joined by some good riders. It's all good
mrss
I don't have t in for Dale but I don't think he is the right man to manage the Stars. Hopefully he will prove me wrong.
tellboy
I don't see why so many Lynn fans have it in for Dale, nice bloke and does a good job. I don't think people have it in for Dale. It's just the preference of some are different to others. Some obviously would like to see someone else take charge,it doesn't mean they have it in for Dale. semion
Is it tonight the first signing is announced? Team Manager position filled. Next the the people who really count. The riders. Will it be a team to fit a budget or will it be a team that will be able to challenge.

Huckenbeck 5.14 Ave: 49.95 I would rather the Stars as my second favourite team (after Sheffield) take Kylmakorpi rather than Nilsson. Which would mean you could fit Batchelor in rater than Porsing? Bit risky taking Schlien & Batchelor considering last season but if a team can't afford the big guns, few 0's is the way to go.
pubichair
Shame Kerr has signed for Coventry! Him and Lynn must of fallen out at some stage. Probably gonna be stuck now with Simon lambert Edited November 26, 2016 by hair
