stevebrum
When Buster was appointed BSPA chairman I had high hopes things would get better. Sadly nothing has changed the rules of british speedway are too complicated and no one understands them. And to cap it all the BSPA are allowing Rory Schlien to ride in the British final. Brits have ridden in Oz finals, Jason Bunyan rode in the Kiwi championships for many a year. Haven't Lambert and Spiller ridden in the German championships? mikebv
The BSPA haven't got it clear in their own minds yet. So there's no chance of them making it clear for anyone else. They are are useless bunch of prats who couldn't organise a piss up at a brewery.See, I think they could.., Its just that they would only organise non alcoholic beer to be available..... 😂 Edited June 18, 2017 by mikebv
stevebrum
Steve, you just got up.It's hard to tell if you post awake or in your sleep most of the time. Spent a productive afternoon with the Van Strattans and Sam Masters. Doing their bit to help cycle speedway. I'd assume you have sat on here all day as per normal. Bald Bloke
If u ditch porsing surely you do it before averages change. As can't think of better options on a sub 5 average It's not rocket science.Agree, theres not much if any better on around a 4.80 ish.If they had let him go as soon as he was injured, they could of gained a point or more (not checked),even if they waited a week or so for the new ave's to come into effect. There not far away from being a very good team.Need to be more ruthless,if they really want to win things.

g13webb
Bjerre and Rory..I was one of a good few that thought "no thanks"...If only.. I always thought KB form would return, Everyone could see his issues of nervousness. Once his confidence returned he was always going to win races with his smooth style....Never a doubt he would return to heat leader status. Rory was different, his injuries were life threatening, Not only was it his inability to ride but also the mental strength to overcome such tragic accident. Even though Rory maintained he was always going to return I thought he would be ideal to become our Team Manager... But true to his word Rory has returned and for which I take my hat off to him. Seeing him last week at the Wolves match was rewarding for all the hard work he has had to do...He has lost none of his gating prowess.. I don't think he would ever return to Kings Lynn because of the public argument he had with Buster one day, over the track and safety issues, There were a lot of out-spoken words that shouldn't have been said, especially in public.... Can't see that ever being forgotten, from either man.......
pointsmeanplayoffs
Some very over the top stuff on here as expected really. Sometimes it helps to take a step back and look at things as a whole, yes Wednesday was dire but if we'd had our reserves and Lambert & Rose had scored around what they normally do it would have been a different meeting. Wolves are the best team around and we got punished. Last night was the fifth league win on the trot, we are second and changes are imminent. Calling for Dale's head or threatening to stop attending taking all that into account is a little extreme and pretty daft. Helps to take a deep breath and chill a bit before posting, things come out a lot more balanced. Here Here! It's getting like the speedway equivalent of ArsenalFanTv on here sometimes.
Bald Bloke
Stars sign Thomas Jorgensen KING’S LYNN have snapped up Danish racer Thomas Jorgensen – who is set to make his debut in Wednesday’s home SGB Premiership clash with play-off rivals Belle Vue.Subject to BSPA approval, Jorgensen will come into the Trucks ‘R’ Us Stars’ side as a replacement for injured fellow countryman Nicklas Porsing.24-year-old Jorgensen rides for Workington in the SGB Championship and has scored solidly in the Comets’ No.5 race-jacket so far this season. He also has brief top-flight e...xperience from a spell with Wolverhampton back in 2012.Porsing faces four to six weeks on the sidelines with a fracture to his foot and torn muscle from a crash in Sweden last week. And Stars boss Dale Allitt admits the Stars had to make this move as a matter of urgency with Porsing’s average set to drop later this week.Jorgensen therefore comes into the team on his Championship average of 7.30, which ironically takes the Stars exactly to the 50.00 limit which remains in place until Thursday.Riders have thus far in 2017 been declared into Premiership teams on their Championship averages due to the sport’s ‘re-set’ last winter, but that period ends this week with new top-flight figures to be issued.Allitt said: “Thomas is doing well at Workington in a tough riding position, and he’s used to riding big tracks also from his time with Berwick.“He’s a good trapper, and that should stand him in good stead for racing in the Premiership, so we look forward to welcoming him into the team.“We’ve been monitoring the situation with Nick because we couldn’t afford to let him drop to reserve whilst he’s injured.“We saw last week against Wolverhampton what can happen if you have to use guests at reserve, and making this move protects the team rather than having to run with guests where the options are very limited. It was obvious that we couldn’t allow that to happen.“So we’ve been looking at things since last week, knowing that the new averages would be coming into effect as long as Swindon raced on Thursday.“We could have used rider-replacement on Wednesday, but then on Thursday morning Nick’s average drops even though our team total will be over 42 (the new limit), so we couldn’t actually strengthen up.“We’ve had to do this without the knowledge of what’s actually going to happen going forward with any conversion between the two leagues.“We know that Nick’s going to be on 4.69 but we don’t know what conversion we would have to play with for a guest, and we had to make a decision in the best interests of the team.”The decisions taken this week over conversion rates will still be of interest to the Stars as they look to secure regular cover for the injured Simon Lambert. They hope to be able to introduce another new rider to the squad for next Monday’s KO Cup trip to Wolverhampton pending the outcome of those talks at BSPA level. Fourentee
Recalling Jorgensen's time at Wolves, you have a great little battler there and also someone with a good personality. I hope he does you proud.
g13webb
Never slow to bemoan my feelings of the management when they are slow to make a change, Let me say a big WELL DONE to signing of Thomas Jorgensen as a replacement for Porsing.. The 2, if not 3 times I have seen him ride he has always impressed me by his forceful style. I'm sure he will be a positive addition to the Lynn team.... Dale Allitt : Well done That man..... Bunce
Like many on here, I can be critical of the Managements lack of action at times, but praise where praise is due, I think this is a good signing and lets hope he does well. It will be interesting to see who steps in to Simon Lamberts boots now, and more importantly, when.

semion
What kind of average has TJ hit previously in the top League ? Dale Allitt is putting a lot of faith in this signing. Gets it right and he is a hero. Get it wrong ? Oh dear Edited June 19, 2017 by semion
Daniel Smith
well it must be me - I m really disappointed with that signing For that average it's disappointing but look at it slightly differently in that, for him to improve the team he only has to be a 5.00 - 6.00 average man compared to Porsing's 4.69. At home be has to better Porsing's 5.05, all very achievable imo. All in all, an improvement on what we had.

Oh dear I've found a handful when he road for Wolves back in 2012.Would of only been 19 then. 1+1, 6 , 4 , 2 , 5+1, 3,
