semion
Do the new averages for KL come into effect after last night's meeting OR after Somerset away? Why is there no clear known point? I thought it was four home and four away for each rider? Buster and Godfrey had it all written down on the back of a fag packet, trouble is they cant find the fag packet !
Trees
Dale said at the P that the BSPA are having a meeting on Monday to sort out averages. He said the current rules were what messed us up in getting stronger guests last night as Championship averages had to be used..
waiheke1
What a shambles the bspa have made of the rules for this year, and as chairman Chapman must take responsibility. We are in June and the rules are still not clear.

I think new averages only come in when all clubs have completed 4h4a, Swindon reach that point after tonights meeting, not sure about the rest of the league though. Trees
They are trying to make it fair for everyone obviously instead of one or two teams stealing a march on the others.
Aces51
It's not as if they didn't know approximately when all teams would complete their 4 home and away and if it is true that they are having a meeting on Monday to sort it out then that indicates total incompetence. They could and should have decided months ago how the new averages would be determined and implemented. Daniel Smith
I've had enough. Will probably see out my season ticket then that's it but I'm at the point now of just chucking it in. King's Lynn is being run by mugs. All the promises of things being better, promises of more ruthless management at the start of the season has seen us fans properly mugged off. I'm absolutely devastated where this club has gone, even the times under Wagstaff weren't as bad as this. Even when he was skint at least he still tried team changes for rider's failing to perform.

Allit should have quit at the press conference in any other sport he'd be gone .
Speedball
Don't be too hasty. If what I'm hearing is true then it might change a few minds.

pointsmeanplayoffs
Don't think Dale can be blamed for 2 of our riders being injured elsewhere, one of our riders choosing to prioritize an international meeting, Robert Lambert having an off night nor both our Aussies making similar mistakes and throwing away wins.  I personally don't think the role of team manager is that much of a big deal. Riders all race for themselves anyway.  My big problem with how things are going this season is the entertainment level on offer. Last night cost me almost £50 all in with refreshments/fuel/programme etc and I left feeling mugged off.  Our team isn't good enough to win every week, we know this, but at least get track ready to produce close racing then the result doesn't really matter.
mrss
I have seen some piss poor Stars teams over the years but up until now the various management teams have kept the fans informed and made team changes when needed. Not now.. The current management tell the fans sod all and don't seem to do anything. They might be happy with the teams performance but Im not.
Needofspeed
Team changes coming after Somerset meeting Friday if what i have heard is true, think most will be please. Â The track is getting worst, stones bigger than driveway gravel hitting you. Â The responds you get from the powers that be when you criticize is the biggest P*** take ever
Bald Bloke
Not arguing about the management keeping fans up to date etc. But Knight 1 from 4 rides.......Could expect 5-6 from 4 from Lambert. Wilko 4 from 6 rides......In form Huckenbeck around 9 -10 from 6. Wolves reserves not on par with Lynn's 2 missing reserves,at Lynn. If you take the lower 5 and 9 that's 14 points compared to 5.Thats a 18 point swing the Stars way. Trees
As Dale said in the PR last night, he appreciates the club have been slow to react in the past so let's see what he/they have in mind....
Twowheels
Speedway should be entertaining, riders should be motivated both on and off the track. Sad thing is that speedway has become to cylincal, to many times we see a rider make a good start only to have the race stopped, it just might be the lower order rider makes a great start, we can't have that might see a race on our hands. I could go on,but must finish lunch.
waytogo28
As Dale said in the PR last night, he appreciates the club have been slow to react in the past so let's see what he/they have in mind.... Â So long as that is not left to be explained in the 2018 season preview. Dale said at the P that the BSPA are having a meeting on Monday to sort out averages. He said the current rules were what messed us up in getting stronger guests last night as Championship averages had to be used.. Â Yes but a meeting on Monday will be almost at mid season point. Did no one think of this likely dilemma 6 months ago?
Theboss
Yes but a meeting on Monday will be almost at mid season point. Did no one think of this likely dilemma 6 months ago? From my experience and knowledge of the association and the people in charge of it, I can confidently guess the answer is 'no'. Â Analytics, calculations and research are what is required when making such fundamental changes within any sport or business. However I would guess these changes were brought in after one person had an idea and put it as discussion point on the AGM agenda, then after twenty minutes (at a push) of discussion they all voted and was told if it passed the rest of the rules would be sorted out later. Â What no one realised was they would be sorted out 8 months later rather than before the season started 😉
semion
8 Months JC ? You are being rather generous and hopeful with that timescale
