King's Lynn Stars 2017

Believe AJ has signed with a Danish club, along with his Swedish & Polish clubs that rules him out. Do you really want Holder reducing his average so he can return to Poole next year 2.5 pts lighter?

The only reason Holder has this high average is because of the 1.4 calculating process. It is obvious his score will reduce because of that. Riding last year at No1 he averaged 8.90 against a far harder standard and format then he will in 2017. He will again be one of the top rider competing and I have no doubt he will finish the season with a higher score than last year.

We have been fortunate and privileged these past few years to watch one of the sports great riders in NKI, In Holder we will have the chance to see one of the few riders able to replace the hole Niels has left......

If Holder signs is this the reason we have switched back to Wednesdays? I wonder if he will just use Lynn and the British League has a testing ground for his bikes ? In theory the guy should be Number 1 in the League averages, but History teaches us that anything contacted with Poole can choke on a regular basis.

Just wanna see Robert Lambert signed up. This could be the year when he makes the step up to the next level.

Holder at Saddlebow Road is always worth watching andwill be a crowd puller, he loves the track and it suits his style. Obviously his average will drop but he will get maximums most weeks especially at home although dont expect much at the smaller tracks. This move will help Poole in the long run too but he should attain a 10 average without too much trouble.

It's funny, a crowd puller but Matt didn't want him ..... maximums most weeks, still didn't want him ....

In Darcy's interview in your Bournemouth Echo he says had he been racing still he'd have had a high average, would Matt have included Darcy in his team or not I wonder?

Hope Holder, Lambert, Batchelor, Rose and Bailly are the last 5 riders... but if Poole are letting us use Holder, is there a space for Lambert or Batchelor to go the other way??? Unsure on how many pts they have left.

Why should Holder be number one surely Doyle is the number one rider. why should he use it as a testing ground? Holder will want to win as many races as possible as usual.

No Darcy would not be in the team for the same reasons Holder isn't in the team. Of course he didn't want him because even if he gets a maximum most week his average will drop and when you can get a rider who will also get maximum's most week's for a point and a half less then why wouldn't you.

Of course this scenario benefits Poole too as Holder can return next year on a fair average.

If Holder is in I'll be chuffed to bits

I certainly hold no fears that he'll come to King's Lynn just to reduce his average.

An around 9 average and it's job done.

People need to get the converted averages out of their minds as for most riders they'll not be achievable.

The team averages are to drop to 42.00 for the first greensheets.

This is the figure that should be in mind and whether the team built can surpass that figure and I believe (if we have) the team below it most certainly will.

2016 EL ave (2017 Converted)

1. Chris Holder 8.95 (12.53)

2. Nikolas Porsing 4.99 (6.99)

3. Troy Batchelor 5.26 (7.36)

4. Lewis Rose 5.00 (6.12)

5. Robert Lambert 7.08 (8.92)

6. Kai Huckenbeck 3.67 (5.14)

7. Josh Bailey 3.00 (2.05)

37.95 (49.11)
