screm
https://www.instagram.com/p/BKKbjLlDCpM/ I have posted this in the NL section but for those who don`t read that section Shelby had his bikes stolen from his van earlier this morning. Nothing else was taken, if these bikes are going to be re-sold hope someone out there will be able to help.

Gresham
What a nightmare for the lad... I've never asked a rider about Insurance for bikes etc. Wonder how quick they pay up for such circumstances?
DSC67
Is there a big market for hookie speedway bikes or parts ? Surely they should fairly easily traced , I wouldn't imagine there's loads of folk out there looking for second hand speedway gear

Funny that only the bikes were stolen as with tools etc you would think they would be easier to get rid of.
Trees
Yeah they won't be daft enough to leave the covers on, all riders need to take every precaution to stop theft, they're all vunerable with bikes left in vans.
Gresham
Plenty of affordable trackers out there that you can attach to bikes. Hidden in the frame, no thief would know.
secretagentmole
Problem is trackers need a battery, precisely where is the battery on a speedway bike? Also you are only thinking of the national market for speedway bikes, don't forget this is an international sport, particularly popular in quite a few former Soviet republics and former communist countries, problem is now you can have the bikes in a van and halfway across Europe in a few hours, not days!
