Peterborough Panthers 2017

Recommended Posts

I baked a cake.

A cake. Can a cake dance? Can a cake get you drunk? Will a cake let you put your hand up it's jumper?

Indeed, would expect you to get it :t:

Holder has missed matches with the permission of our promoter, so I won't be giving him any grief when he rides for us. Ged has obviously got an eye on next season, & hopes Holder will ride for us if we can change to Friday night racing. If that happens, I will be there every week, because Holder is worth the admission fee with his amazing ability to win from the back. Just hope we bring Bomber back as well.

Peterborough fans should make their voice heard towards Holder next time he can be bothered to show up.

He has shown total disregard for your club.

If an Ipswich rider did this i wouldnt want him to ride for my club again.

I bet Panthers fans still give him a heros reception

Hopefully the ipswich fans that are going on Thursday will give him plenty of stick. Not that he will care, but ya never know he may stick his fingers up and pick up a fine.

I hope Holder sticks it up you when he wins the Championship riders individual @ Glasgow followed by the championship Pairs with Bomber @ Sheffield. :t:

Why will he be sticking it up to me?

Couldnt give a monkeys t0ss if he wins it, and lets be fair they should walk the pairs.

He has shown no respect for your club and neither has your promoter..if your fine with that then so be it.

Just shows how bad your team is really when you can have 2 of the leagues best riders..............win the fours without one of them .................but be so far off the pace in what really matters in the league.

Very poor management to build a side the way you have..............with the biggest home track advantage in the league.

We won't have both.

Friday crowds are terrible as is Holder's attitude & commitment.

It simply has to be Sundays with Harris. I never want to see Holder ride for us again.

In my opinion, it's unlikely he'll do Championship league surely, Poland have already probably signed him and Poole too I should think. Next step Sweden :unsure:

And yet Fridays were seen as the club's salvation. If we really have any real ambition of a return to the other league in future then we shouldn't get too used to Sundays.

Not by Ged, he realises Sundays are by far the best supported day. You'd think he'd do what's best for the club - however recent events have made me question that! The only return to the top league will be when it's one league.

Have to admire your faith in your riders.

Ranks alongside Gavan believing that Glasgow and Ipswich were going to meet in the Play Off Final.

Not what he said:

And Rathbone admits the prospect of potentially being able to lead Panthers back to the top level, where they rode with success between 1999 and 2013, is an appealing one.

He added: “We did consider applying to go up for next season, but we felt that this was not the right time to do it.

“We’re already completing the final purchase of the club from Readypower this winter and it would have been too much of a commitment to step up into the Premiership as well.

“But that doesn’t mean we don’t want to get there in the future, and it would be nice to go up by the old fashioned way of earning it.

“I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t compete in the top flight in the new climate in speedway.”

And with a fixed night in prospect which Peterborough has always needed over the last 15 years I'd say the time is ripe if we have another winter restructure.

I didn't notice any great difference to Scunthorpe,s crowd from past visits.

crowd was about the same i think yes

less Boro travelling fans than normal i thought

, because Holder is worth the admission fee with his amazing ability to win from the back. Just hope we bring Bomber back as well.

something the fans of Newcastle and Scunthorpe didnt get the chance to see because of Holder and the product devaluing promotion at Boro
