Peterborough Panthers 2017

Sadly his time has passed as a Panthers rider and he now is a pale shadow of the rider he was in 2006 , but I've always found him as a reasonable guy and wish him luck for the future.

i think an awful lot of speedway fans have enjoyed richards riding style over the years , but it may be time to say farewell now .

Hall has burnt his bridges now with his Twitter comments. Carr was banging in some big scores for Berwick last season..let's hope he can do it for us .

It will be interesting to see how Liam goes at the Showground ,he is a decent gater which helps at Berwick don't believe that is the case at Peterborough .Wish him well though.

If he can gate and not sit on the inside line for 4 laps he should be alright , I hope he can use the outside lines . It's an ideal chance to showcase his talents as he's only temp for the injured Simon Lambert. Just might make one or two teams interested in him , well I hope so anyway.

He will have to change his style IMO .He scores good points in most NL matches though, but Championship is different proposition as a lot of 2 pt men have found out.

It's certainly is a big jump for them agreed at least he will have the chance to prove himself riding in a reserve position and not in the top 5 as was the case for him at Berwick.

If he performs he'll stay in the team whether Lambert is fit or not

Liam tends to set his bikes to drive really hard which can cause them to lift. If he gets out too wide at P'Boro and into the deep stuff there could be problems.

Tom broke the tapes in two of his rides and had to to off 15m so not a fair reflection last night.

Tom is a good gater anyway and has an excellent setup however he has become impatient and is starting to develop a reputation for rolling / jumping at the tapes which is costing him.

It's a very fair reflection, it's showing the rider is starting to suffer a lack of confidence and is getting desperate at a level he should be finding easier.

I've only seen Bacon twice at the EoES and he doesn't offer much.

Peterborough are at that point in the season where it's not mathematically all over but it's very close to be over realistically.

Peterborough nees to win all the remaining home fixrures and pick up points away.

For me, Carr will better Bacon but the issue may be that Carr gets a new average with a couple of meetings and then can't replace Bacon anyway.

What is everyone expecting from a 2 pointer?

For me, not a lot but just to try and race off the white line.

Doesn't matter if he scores 3 or 13 but by now he should have developed a bit of knowhow round the Showground at least.

But not every rider races the dirt. Maybe he is one of those. Although at the showground that could be more of an issue than some other tracks. Maybe the track staff could add a little bit more grip round the curb? Or maybe bacon should ride with his front wheel on the grass later in the meeting to get to some fresh dirt.

Tweet him and ask why he only uses the curb?

Haha, everyone seems to know how a rider sets his bike up to drive hard and lift 🙈🙈

Why not give Liam a chance on Sunday and see how he copes with the track. Might struggle to find the setup to start with, but he will adapt to the track. Last year heat beat Doolan, Jorgensen and Morris on his first ever visit to the track, he was also reserve for Berwick in the fours meeting.
