Dandelion
If people want to get rid of Hansen and Starke, I'd happily see them at Brough

Flappy
Any news on BWD?..I would not wanna get rid of either..I would replace Ostergard with Thompsen but will never happen.Thomsen saddled himself with an 8+ average last season. I see on the apt website Johnson is threatening changes and hopes all absent riders will be back for Friday. Ostergaard, Hansen, Lambert and Bacon have to be the riders under severe threat despite the latter having a decent meeting last night. The make up of the team was wrong for the second season running and a couple were signed it appears for sentimental reasons instead of results. At the risk of repeating myself, I make that about 10 seasons. You start off with someone that you can rely on home and away to win races (and preferably 2 or 3 of such riders) and work around them. Fans make me laugh. The problems are obvious from the start everytime but everything's triffic with them until it invariably goes pear shaped and then they want root and branch changes. Dandelion
Message to Ged and co. Please DON'T sack Kenneth Hansen. The problem is 3 riders and 3 riders only. Ostergaard - Just useless. Won 1 of his last 15 races and he is the No.5. Ulrich should step down tbh. S. Lambert - Apart from the Berwick meeting Simon hasn't done anything. Bacon - The EOES doesn't suit his style. I said from Day 1 Ged has got this all wrong. J. Holder our No.1 has U-21 commitments and when he is missing guests are very limited. Should have signed J. Holder as our No.5 and Kennett or someone of that level as our No.1 Should have shipped Ostergaard out to Berwick or Scunthorpe. Panthers fans won't like this but the fact is Peterborough wont achieve anything under Ged because he picks teams on sentiment alone. Remember last season when Peterborough fell short of the play-offs? Ged practically blamed Ostergaard by saying something like this 'for someone who has ridden this track for years suddenly forgot how to ride it' Yet he goes and signs him the following season. And I'm sure they'll see this... What if Berwick or Scunthorpe didn't want Ostergaard?

Baldyman
Don't matter who any of you want, ged will employ who he wants and who fits into his budget and is available. Unless one of you wants to buy the club? Edited May 22, 2017 by baldyman

Crump99
Don't matter who any of you want, ged will employ who he wants and who fits into his budget and is available. Unless one of you wants to buy the club? Apart from saying that we don't owe money and the bills are paid, I don't recall it being put in those terms. If that's the business model then expectations need to be lowered. We were told that that was the team they wanted and that we want to return to the big league under our own steam which is partly why we didn't move up as we could have. If you could afford it then I doubt that that's the team that you would have chosen because you'd really need luck and improvement for it to win any prizes. Flappy
All these riders not performing..... Wonder what the common denominator is?Been here too long Don't matter who any of you want, ged will employ who he wants and who fits into his budget and is available. Unless one of you wants to buy the club?To a degree yes, looking at it another way, without fans there's no club so it really is a partnership. As has been said elsewhere, the club said they wanted promotion and to win trophies, this team can't and won't do that. Agree 100% there were people prior to the start of the season saying that many of this team could add 1 point and some 2 to their averages. Holder, Starke and BWD the rest have been a let down. Baldyman
We have been down longer than you lot and put some great teams together on paper. We haven't exactly won much. Its seems very hard to do well in this league unless you get a bit of luck and keep on top of changes if needed. Looking at your starting team it looked good to win home matches and maybe get the odd point on the road. That would have been okay if you hadn't started losing at home.
need for speedway 87
I do think, sadly, team changes need to happen for us to improve this season, i also think the show ground track needs work, we need our grippy fortress again. Get that Sullivan line back on bend 2!
Dandelion
Should have Signed Klindt. He would have made you solid. Have you seen Klindt around brough? I think with the rest of the team, his home form wouldn't matter, we'd be strong enough, but it'd be nice to get some riders who could ride away tracks, like Sheffield and Peterborough, just to improve our away form And to answer your question... No Anyway, I have in my head what I'd like to see, and if it happened, I'd be happy, but I doubt it will Finally...
