flagrag
I think the problem with replacing Lambert at the minute is his father he is the commercial manager at Peterborough and has.brought in quite a bit of local sponsorship and hired the boxes out. Would the promotion want to upset him before giving Simon a change at reserve ? The problem is the Panthers have got lots of fixtures coming up in the next few weeks including quite a few home meetings

The problem is the Panthers have got lots of fixtures coming up in the next few weeks including quite a few home meetings If we let his average drop to 3 to give the said chance ato reserve and it doesn't pay off our season will be over due to the make up of the side bring heavily reliant on all 7 improving their averges greatly Edited May 9, 2017 by Flappy
Mad Max
Tempting but no. The mug in me thinks that Lambert could smash in scores again and will Ayres do that? Not to the same degree. Rather sign Busch and Ayres if Redcar keep Garcia Are you using the Ged Rathbone average calculator, thinking of bringing in two riders totalling around 8.3 to replace two on 7.25 Don't see Busch being anywhere near a comeback, and if he is Redcar would be mad to keep Garcia instead

Should have seen that potential conflict (if it exists) in the first place. They have a bloke, Bratley, virtually living on site (unless he's moved) who could have quite easily picked that up. I don't know if they considered that or approached him.
boz
Agree with Mad Max - Busch's injuries certainly sounded like it would take more than 28 days to heal. If he was fit enough to make a comeback would be straight back into our side I would think. Am surprised no-one has picked up Ayres though. Sings4Speedway
He will get better but he is already 29 Only on his birth certificate. Physically & enthusiasm he is 19. (Mentally probably about 9 )
TheScotsman
He will get better but he is already 29 So?? Cookie will be 30 on the day we visit (Sunday week) and Danny King is nudging 31. What age was Tiger Louis when he started? We get far too fixated with age in speedway. It's down to how good you are not how old you are.

Tiger was 28 when he first sat on a Speeway bike, which proves that age does not inhibit exceptional ability...

Flappy
I'm sure Max Dilger and Rafa are looking for team places. On current form they'd score more than Lambert and Bacon

TheScotsman
That might be because it keeps stopping for a nibble and gets an energy boost though. Maybe you need to buy Tom B. a pack of Wagon Wheels - the jam ones in the blue pack!!

Flappy
something with a c anyway 😛 Steady on lol Really Flappy !! thought you lot had learnt your lesson last tie with him . You got to stick with Lambert , just having a rough time right now but im sure he will come good esp at home . It was just a question, he's showing no signs of improvement. We can't carry anyone for home form alone let alone one who's not doing it home or away in a team built reliant on reserve strength
