scoobydoo
Yes it can? Worrall, Lawson, Summers, Lunna, Garcia, Ayres/Sissis and a 2 pointer fits in with ease Could go with that but looks top heavy Ok then but who will make way for Bewley

Seems that all NL newbies will be a 2. Could be rather embarrassing for Louis if he's wrong of course! But you'd have to think he knows the score as he's an intelligent guy and just spent three days at the AGM.
jenga
and there by lies the clue. danyon didnt do enough meetings to gain an official average , therefore danyon come in on a 3.00 as a new rider who has yet to gain an average . thats the way i see it. if danyon had gained an average . he would come in on the average he gained .. no less than 2.00 and if he didnt meet the 3.00 point mark , he would come in on his average below 3.00 or higher than a 3.00 . but i do believe he will be ok to fill the number 7 spot for the witches/panthers . my and others point of view . Steve Irving
"Any new assessed riders including Danyon, will be a 2 point rider and not a 3" Louis' exact words. We'll soon find out I guess.
bigcatdiary
From the Glasgow Website The other big news for Championship sides is the lowering of the points limit for team-building to 40. Each side must again have a British rider on a three-point average at No 7 – but riders who have previously raced in the second tier, but not achieved the three-point average, can come in on a minimum of two points. Seems pretty clear to me - With "Previously raced" and "Not achieved the three point average" being the important parts, So my understanding of the above is all riders start off on a 3.00 unless they have a GS average having ridden enough matches and any not achieving 3.00 start on the average they have achieved but go no lower than 2.00.

Doesn't seem fair though . Riders who haven't proved good enough to attain a three point average become more attractive than a rider who averaged just above three ( who will probably not figure in the majority of promoter's plans ) or a young budding hopeful hoping for their first crack at the second tier . They are the ones who should be given the two point averages , just like Jason Crump all those years ago
