stevehone
I wouldn't call it diluted, I'd call it sustainable, and that is what all the tracks need to be looking at or there's no way to build from anything else
Crump99
I wouldn't call it diluted, I'd call it sustainable, and that is what all the tracks need to be looking at or there's no way to build from anything else That's what we hear every year though. It never bottoms out though does it. You'll be saying the same thing next year when the next ineffective cost cutting measures in the name of sustainability are rumoured. stevehone
it'll bottom out when the clubs can no longer afford to pay rider demands and we are left with nothing .. unless we get back to basics and people accept it then there's no chance

Flappy
And they still expect us to pay £15 for the privilege. Speedway for speedways sake doesn't interest the massess
Baldyman
because teams will be weaker doesn't mean things like rent will go down. The cost to a club will still be the same.
proud panther
Well the promoters need to negotiate a cheaper rent, because if they go bust, the landlords will get no rent.

Crowds could very well ho down across all clubs

New era Panthers
Good luck with selling that progressive vision of the future. It's easy for us all to find fault and have a good old moan about a sport that appears to be dying on it's feet , but nobody seems to have the answer to the problems that speedway is faced with, year on year we still are contesting the same problems, living in hope that BSPA will eventually come up with something that will revolutionary remedy improving the image whilst cutting costs without devaluing the standards of racing thus improving crowd levels. It will take a genius to sort out a solution , sadly I don't see it ever happening and we are faced with a watering down of the product whilst admission will eventually rise as attendances drop. Just can't see a bright light shining anywhere. Sad but that's how I see it.
wealdstone
The financial benefit of any watering down or price increase is always negated by the loss in revenue due to the number of fans who decide not to come anymore. At least Ged Rathbone seems to understand this judging by his remarks at the recent fans forum.
