Peterborough Panthers 2017

Leslie Philips is 92 these days! :D

Great number 92 and takes us back to your previous post:

IT doesn’t get any better than 1992. Panthers won the lot - the Division Two title, the KO Cup and the Four-Team Tournament at the Showground.

A new promotion, headed by Peter Oakes and James Easter, swept into the Showground during the winter. They quickly assembled a new-look side, only Aussie ace Stephen Davies remaining from the misery of ‘91. He was appointed captain of a team featuring popular Mick Poole, Paul Whittaker, Mark Blackbird, Rob Colquhoun and Paul Hurry. An unknown 16 year-old by the name of Jason Crump filled a reserve berth.

It did get better though in 1999 ;)

Maybe Ged should be honest with the fans in the first place,he's been the worst thing to happen to Peterborough made them a complete laughing stock with his stamp his feet attitude if he doesn't get his own way.

Rumour has it he told porkies about his riders being paid upto date when a few are still owed for a fair few meetings!!!

(Is that better)

He lied to the fans stating all his riders are paid upto date when Infact they are owed thousands.

Are they now? You have proof of that?

A very serious allegation!!! If not true would warrant serious legal action

Ol' 2 posts clearly has an agenda Rodders so I'd ignore it. We know that the only known thing about Peterborough Speedway is that no bugger ever knows anything,

Just what i'd expect from a novice poster , making serious allegations like this is sheer stupidity I would suggest you back it up with some proof , failing that then you should keep quiet and before you post again , just use your brain.

If it's not true I'm surprised someone hasn't been on here to put the facts straight and the other person hasn't retracted it makes ya think

if you want clarity then you're definitely on the wrong thread, especially if you want thinking included.

Come on now would you seriously expect to discuss your wages or private business on a website like this, it's a personal thing between riders promoter and the BSPA and should not be open for discussion , but one thing I can tell you is upto about 3 ago Ged made a statement saying that all bills were paid upto date including riders wages . He could have lost quite a bit of money on the rearrangement date on an offnight Monday against Rye house in his quest to fit fixtures in before the cut off date though.
