Flappy
Build a team to win at home. Start with Hansen and Lasse Bjerre and build from that. What would Rory Schlein's PL average be? No Ostergaard please
Panthers89
1. Lawson 8.51 2. Lambert 5.07 3. Lasse 6.84 4. Jonas B Anderson 6.02 5. Hansen 7.40 6. Jack Smith 3.00 7. Morris 4.58 41.42 Would dominate around the EOES, and actually a believable side.....

Panthers89
Depends what average it is, if it's 41.50, wouldn't fit. A lot depends on Ged though and if he will stay.

maneacat
Why would he just leave after all of the hard work? Well he was very upset about something this evening. Couldn't speak to Craig trying to interview him at the end of the meeting.
Crump99
Branching out into physical exercise classes now - whatever next Going to be known as Poole Fitness First Pirates in 2017 allegedly. Depends on the finances, If we're making a loss then why would he carry on? When have Panthers ever made a profit? 2006 I guess is the only time in the last 16 or so years? It needs Rathbone's PR skills, Frost type finance and Ford type rider selection. And it still needs a lot of work even then.
Crump99
Well he was very upset about something this evening. Couldn't speak to Craig trying to interview him at the end of the meeting. Interviews by Tarzan usually bring me to tears so I have some sympathy for Ged. I think that the music played by the Age UK DJ we employed for the evening probably tipped him over the edge. In reality I think that he did what he thought would work and is really gutted that it didn't; it's clearly affected him and it was the wrong time and place to discuss why it went wrong . I'm not particularly a Carl Johnson fan (but then again I don't like anybody ) but fair play to him for taking to the mic and giving a good speech for the troops who hadn't already gone home!

Purplepanthernotred
Need a solid team, if they are available to ride I think the best team we can have is this: Kenneth bjerre8.22 Lasse bjerre 6.90 Anders Thomsen6.62 Simon lambert5.25 Kenneth Hansen7.07 Ashley Morris4.37 Leaves 4.07 Gunna have strong riders at reserve and the back up to the main body which we've lacked! Purplepanthernotred
A team of showground specialists key. Hansen on 7.07 and Lasse Bjerre on 6.90 would be a bargain and build from that then the likes of Todd Kurtz would come into my thinking. If we can't keep Cook or Bjerre a number 1 will be needed. Someone like Rory Schlein? We don't need someone like that he's struggled like mad this year, he's no good!
CoolPanther
Most Panthers fans are sane, friendly, reasonable people,we love our Speedway, applaud all the riders, including the opposition,we turn out in all weathers to do this,we sit patiently if there is an unfortunate delay, we complain a bit ...but who doesn't? Even though we complain, during a meeting if things don't go the way we want, deep down we know everybody has done their best..look how far we have come since we nearly folded. We now have a thriving supporters club, and many fans work tirelessly to save the club money. I am proud to be a Panthers fan,it is a shame that a fool on here,is bringing our club into disrepute. I know it is only done for an idiot's entertainment,I realize you shouldn't bite when said idiot goes fishing as it basically feeds his stupid brain and we get more insane posts,I have tried to ignore it all season but it is hard. Morrissey.Fan, the joke is not funny, only in your own brain are you seen as witty, you just seem warped and very sad.

I agree with your comments about that KKS knob with his stupid wind-up posts on here. And you're right, if people stopped biting he'd stop eventually. Every time I click on a Panthers thread hoping to find something enlightening or interesting, page after page is full of inane cr4p. In any case, KKS's antics don't excuse the handful of similar knobs who are constantly having snidey little pops at Panthers. We're all in it together........ aren't we? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
One mans snidey little pops are anothers light hearted banter - each to there own. That it is aimed at the Panthers is just down to the fact that the goings on there lend themselves so open to it. wink Underneath it are more serious points around league structure and cost bases etc but feel free to ignore us knobs when we do try to debate these.....
