Peterborough Panthers V Rye House - 12/9

Not sure who these fans are? but I think Cam more than delivered this season (last year half a season at reserve and second string at Ipswich, this year 3rd heat leader all year)

Strange night, before I thought we would be lucky to get 40, after three heats I thought we would be lucky to get 30 yet after the heat 14 (even if Morley is the "face that fits" I would have used Branford above Lanham) atrocious decision we were then on for the 3-3 in heat 15. Left confused but overall actually disappointed.

They have mad themselves obvious on here Rayleigh, but I agree with you totally. More than delivered and if it were not for the almost 5 week gap in home fixtures, the blown engine in that pointless meeting at KL and the change of track conditions lately at Hoddesdon, I think Cam would've been pyshing Robbo closer for the No. 2 position in the Averages.

Absolute bolloxios in this case. I can't think of any reason why Branford shouldn't have replaced Morley in heat 14, unless his bike wasn't ready.

A savvy team manager would've made Morley miss the 2 minutes giving Branford time to sort out any issues.

So you don't know outside of your logical solution, isn't that what I said.

I was following Live Updates with disbelief. At Scunny on Friday, better use of Branford could have got you a point. Last night, it definitely cost you the win.

If Rye finish bottom this year, it will be down to the team manager, not the riders. I don't think Rye are the weakest team in the league - you certainly gave us more of a match around Scunny than any other team in our final four home league meetings.

All the best

Rob

Only reason I can think of is that we've got nothing to race for and the more points Branford gets the higher his average is going to be for next year. Also, I'd not go anywhere near Morley next year on his 4.5 figure, I don't think anyone sane would. If he has a few bad meetings then his average may suddenly start to look more appealing.

they never made full use of him at Berwick either that could be the thinking. He was tremendous at Shielfield.

can not help but totally agree - I am not really bothered by what happened and why last night (there must have surely been some good reason why Rob was not in heat 14)

BUT it was embarrassing to sit and listen to the PB fans laughing thanking Rye for gifting them the match

All season Peter's had the opportunity to replace a rider with a inform reserve but never did! Peter Karger springs to mind. Schroeck to much of a nice guy and let's the rider's have the opportunity to have their 4 race quoter even at the cost of points to the club.

Hope Camerons ok, don't mind having him back next year

Our job is done.

Now It's time to hope Newcastle can win at Ipswich on Thursday.

That finally proves that you cannot be a real speedway fan. Any real fan will always as a first priority be concerned about the wellbeing of an injured rider.

He isn't a real fan otherwise he would have shut up when he was told he was putting his so called club in jeopardy

I hardly think one looney on the BSF makes any difference to the situation. As for it not being concerned about the injured riders, it was safe to assume that they were feeling second hand but not seriously injured, hence the 1/2 hour wait between the incident and heat 15 completing. It could not have completed if the doctor was attending to seriously injured riders.

It was something that someone said on here the other day. About him bringing unwanted attention or something. Maybe jeopardy was the wrong word for me to use

Correct.

The post was made whilst Heeps was still being attended to on the track and by the posters own admission, he was not in attendance.
