New era Panthers
A KOC quarter-final on September 22nd. How ridiculously late! That leaves 5 weeks for the semis and final (and a possible replay) as well as the play-offs being then. Not to mention more finals in the freezing cold with the potential for rain-offs. Well you can forget about Panthers or Scorpions being involved in play-offs , unless its for the wooden spoon.

KevH
So it's been announced that Carl Wilkinson has been released and will be replaced by Sunday 30th July. Any idea who his replacement may be?
thebaron
Well there's a really great option who is available. Average fits; World Cup rider; proven at this level; got the x-factor in terms of supporter appeal; a racer and has made it known hes chasing a PL/CL ride. Infact; there's no reason why you would not to sign this rider ? Oh hang on though there might be one ?
Stiltonpanther
Emil Grondal was at Peterborough yesterday and said he cannot wait to get racing in England again. Maybe destined for Scunthorpe.
Jamiett2012
But didn't rob mention that there was going to be two changes yesterday? So if wilko is one who is the other?

New era Panthers
And Drabik would certainly fall into that category! He's Polish so no chance of him riding at Scunthorpe especially as it's a Sunday track.
Dandelion
Scott Nicholls maybe ? How much do Scunthorpe have to play with? Â Â Or Gino Manzares (work visa permitting) Want to see him in this country Or Maksym Drabik (work permit not needed) Not a f*cking chance... Don't make me laugh
Panthers89
I really can't see Scunny paying out for Nichols or someone similar to that with the season all done and dusted IMO. Waste of money

Waste of money If that's there attitude then they might as well have kept Wilkinson , the way he's been riding lately he would cost very little. I think they need a new NO1 to freshen things up and hope it attracts better support , but like you not sure if they are willing to shell out for a rider of that calibre. thebaron
Â Or Gino Manzares (work visa permitting) That's your man ...and the second change is a bonefide No1. Just got a place at Poole but could double up. He goes well round the EWR.
cheggie
I work out that Scunny have 6.13 left?  1 Toft 7.09 2 Douglas 5.73 3 Auty 6.64 4 ?? 5 Kerr 6.82 6 Aarnio 4.98 7 Bailey 2.61 33.87 6.13 left  But if there is more than one rider being let go, as already hinted in press release, it could be a lot more points to play with........
