Midget
i dont understand why fans dont want k.k.h.in their team . borrowers fans were crying out for him to sign for 2017. he always starts slow and then suddenly it all comes together . rene bach will only ride for newcastle or glasgow .. viss is a good shout as well . so sad to see josh retiring . i remember him when he came to workington in his early years , cleaning out almost everyone on the centre green . a true entertainer in his early years .. happy retirement josh .. see you in 2018 ! Yeh I remember, the same Josh auty that finished Kenny ingalls career. Total wreckless rider. The problem with waiting for KKH is while we are waiting for him to hit some kind of form the playoffs are slipping away , but his performances this season have not justified him being part of the team . An why are you surprised by hansen this year? You knew what you were getting, entertainment at home but away from home you hav a 3 point heat leader I'm afraid.

Because I believe he was brought in to be a solid heatleader around the showground and it was genuinely accepted that his away form would be poor but as long as he produced some decent scores at the showground then his away form would have been something to work on and try to improve but his home form alone was less than desirable. thebaron
Just be playing around with options and I reckon Claus Vissing would be a fair bet. Always think there's something about him round Scunny and 6.80 on the numbers. If we could get Liam Carr 3.00 at 7. Then for now we would look. MPT; Wilko; Lewis; Ryan; Vissing; Tero; & Carr. Then there would be a decision to make once Stefan is fit and maybe Fritz might come into it as well ?. Thing is come what may we need to get behind the team there's still more than half of the season to play out interesting times indeed. Let's hope we can get a respectable showing at Rough Park Newcastle this evening from the depleted Scorpions.

Panthers89
Not likely back this season apparently. If rumours be true Ully could be available end of the week......
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
has nico covatti got over his injury yet, hes good to watch around the ewr? good result at rough park, well done lads bad break around some rods already in situ from a previous injury. Rods were mangled which meant significant operations including skin grafting. No return this season expected 😦
Guest Scunny2012
The morale at scunny must be at an all time low it will be very difficult to climb out of this hole. Good luck. Looks like Scunny have bounced back at Newcastle, well done lads although Douglas is still a worry

Islander15
It's not just a heat leader you lose in Auty though, it's entertainment at the EWR. That needs replacing though and someone like Hansen has never struck me as entertaining. Edited May 28, 2017 by Islander15
allthegearbutnaeidea
Doesn't look like Wilko's going anywhere but I'd be thinking about replacing Douglas as well as Bailey and Auty, how about Kennett, Stef Nielsen and Carr does that fit? 3 brits, if Stef still injured bring in Jacobs on a 28 day contract? Or maybe Berge, Vissing and Carr, Ostergaard could be a good option if he gets dropped by PBoro, I'd avoid Hansen. Although Berge was useless for us he's a good young rider, Vissing was OK for us but he's getting a bit of a reputation of fallong out with team mates/ team managers, Carr will be absolutely fine at number
Dandelion
If Kennett, Nielsen and Carr fits, I'd go with that... And then sign Jacobs as a replacement for Aarnio so Newcastle can have him
KevH
Broc Nicol is after a British team. I'd give him a chance and he would become a Scunny asset too.
allthegearbutnaeidea
Kennett Nielsen and Carr doesn't fit but Vissing/Berge Nielsen and Carr does, a lot less wage bill and still improving the team for Douglas Auty and Bailey
Islander15
All this talk of Nielsen, is he even fit?
IronScorpion
Berge to fill in for Auty then Nielsen to come back when fit at the expense of another rider. If we do a full team re-declaration, I think we need 2 riders who are eligible or who have ridden in the NL(old Conference League) We have just lost 2 in Auty & Bailey. Panthers89
You have to remember though Berge will do a couple of meetings then drop down a 4.00 average, meaning you'll have to plan another signing as that will be nearly 3 points spare, got let that go a miss IMO
