waiheke1
Gavan can you sort me out a motor when i visit the uk ?? You're one of those time wasters aren't you, your probably thinking about buying a motor in 6 months time ot summat. I bet he's sick of people like you! Playing victim lol. dont need to mate im more than happy with my opinions on the meeting. Take a look back over the thread and read my posts, i never came on here ' to look for a fight'. I put up a review of the meeting, praising Poole riders as well as mentioning those that struggled. And i lose to Shovlar lol. Take a look over some posts. We are both right and wrong at times. He said Tungate would weaken Poole and that Hougaard would strengthen Belle Vue. He was wrong, i was right. I have no issue being wrong. I predicted Poole would win by 10 and i was wrong, simple really Shovlar aggressive right from the start calling me a pillock but thats ok. He called me a pillock because ' Hougaard is better than Fricke round Belle Vue' ............erm no he isnt as has been proved, but thats ok to abuse me because i had a different opinion My first post after the meeting. If anyone thinks its aggressive then im stunned and backing my opinion that i was right You really lack any self awareness don't you. It's not just Poole fans, there are at least a dozen people have pointed out that the manner you post in is doing you no favours, and you still refuse to acknowledge you've done anything wrong. I mean this: Well that was there for the taking for Poole but for what ever reason they failed to take it. Zagar very poor and gifted Poole 3 points once when hitting the fence and another with the engine failure. But apparently according to the troll Kurtz engine failure cost them the meeting! What a strange little bubble that man lives in!!. Good job Ellis wasn't needed in the World Cup half a lap behind in a league meeting but apparently he is a racer and loves these big tracks! Newman was awful. It's ok being good on a poor track at Poole but his away scored could cost Poole. Tried to go between 2 riders them shut off very strange. Hougaard was awful and no replacement for Fricke at all as we all said......oops no the troll said it would make them stronger lol his speedway knowledge is so bad it's quite scary. Tungate massively strengthened the Pirates in place of Hans as again everyone said he would......oops except the troll again dear dear. Holder totally superb absolute masterclass. So the favourites only lost by 3 so at Poole you would expect them comfortably to win hence why they should win the league. Came Ellis and Newman be so poor again? Fricke will make Belle Vue stronger and surely Zagar must do better. Should be tight but Poole still should win To help, I've highlighted the bits that are either aggressive, or questionably as to their accuracy. why was the meeting there for the taking. You were the only person to suggest Poole would win by 10, everyone else said it would be close. et you then have a dig at others for their speedway knowledge, and even boast about what a good job you did predicting things!?! Why have a dig like that at Ellis, using terms like "supposedly a racer" ? no wonder his dad put you on ignore. Newman was hardly awful, and I 'm not sure he shut off, he just didn't quite have the speed to pass. Hougard awful? He was beaten twice by Holder, and twice by Tungate, riders you admit were "superb" and "massively strengthening". Last night, Fricke was beaten once by Tungate from two heats, and it's far from certain he would have beaten Holder - I reckon Fricke would have added 2 points maybe to the Aces total, noting that he scored paid 10 against Swindon (a weaker side) last night whereas Hougard scored paid 8 against Poole. You do play the victim. Every post you either whinge or mention you are reporting things to admin, or otherwise you dish out abuse. Others have said the exact same thing. The fact is you do make a lot of valid points, but these are lost by the manner you post in and the bollocks you come up with sometimes. Tbh, at the moment you fall into the same category as Flange and Robert72, posting the same monotonous stuff on multiple threads. If Shovvy winds you up that much, then put him on ignore. Simple. Tbh, at the moment you fall into the same category as Flange and Robert72, posting the same monotonous stuff on multiple threads. If Shovvy winds you up that much, then put him on ignore. Simple. Ok let me point out a few points: The only abuse i dish out is to the same 2 people. I only use the words idiot and troll. Shovlar puts out many many statements to get his points across and calls me name if i disagree. Clown idiot part pillock are just some of the names ive been called. I then once called him a numpty and he reported it. I now report him when he does it. Bit pathetic yes but why should it be ok for him. The post you have highlighted was a dig at him basically. For example he has given me load of abuse over the Bates v Ellis debate for the world cup. He kept telling me that Adam is a racer and is so much better on big tracks (i agree) so when Adam struggled i was throwing that back at him. He got other things wrong as well so what i did was prove that point. Its ok for him to go on and on at myself and call me names so he cant go crying when its the other way round. I did fancy Poole to win the other night and in my reasons i included the fact that Newman was good there on Bank Holiday, I thought Tungate would make them stronger and Hougaard make Belle Vue weaker. I thought it was the right time for Poole to get a win there and couple with Zagar being off form it was. I just wasnt expecting Newman and Ellis and to a lesser extent Buck to be so poor. I got the prediction wrong and im happy to admit that. I apologise to you an others if my posts are out of line but yes ive had plenty of stick in the past and im standing up for myself against one person Gavan cook can you sort me out a motor when i visit the uk ?? Well done hope your proud of yourself bless you.
waiheke1
So why post purely to have a dig at someone. Posting just to have a dig at someone is aggressive, and it seems 50% of your posts contain such a dig. Shovvy clearly likes to stir, but he never comes across as aggressive in his posts. It's blatantly obvious when he is posting just to get a reaction, and you fall into the trap every time. Tbh, I'd say its quite a lot like KKS - post something outrageous to get reaction, then stand back and watch as a plethora of suckers post in outraged response. Why not stick him on ignore instead of being a sucker?

You and a group of friends are out for the evening and chatting about speedway, Imagine one of them was talking in the way that Gavan posts . I think he'd be on his back crying within half an hour. Just because it's online, it doesn't give you the right to be a dick. you wouldn't put up with it in real life, why put up with it here?

In what way? I often go out with friends and we regularly chat about speedway including one guy who hates Woffy and no none of us ever end up on our backs. Ive backed Adam all season and as an ex witch i couldnt be happier to see him do well. Do i think he was the right choice for the world cup? No as i thought Bates had done more on the world stage at the time and i stand by that. Since the World Cup Bates has gone backwards and Adam has held his own. Still dont understand why you blocked me just because i thought Bates at the time was the right way to go. I have no beef with you like you do with me obviously and i wish Adam every success

Well said. I'm still absolutely flummoxed that he's still carrying on in the same way when many people are now throwing shots at him regarding the info he publicly posted. If i'd done the same i think i'd be keeping a low profile at the mo. ps - anyone know why i'm now seeing ads on this very page offering me motability cars ? Barrow Boy 2
Well done Durno, done us again. Cook clearly touched the tapes and Buckowski gets excluded! This is another rule that needs changing. The first breach was when Cook moved when the green light came on and before the tapes went up. Anything after this should be irrelevant. The race should have been restarted with all 4 riders with Cook being warned if he was deemed not to have touched but if the referee ruled that he had touched then Cook should have been disqualified and his reserve replacement be asked to go from 15 meters. Buczkowski breaking the tapes happened after Cook's breach. Edited September 15, 2016 by Barrow Boy

So tungate perhaps should have been the one warned not cook.

I get more annoyed with riders who try to jump and miss it completely and then it gets called back. Riders will always try and suck their opponents into the tapes. Jason Garrity has freely admitted that at Premier league level he loves to try and make James Sargeant go through the tapes
Pinny
Gavan cook really is bringing his employers company into disrepute on this thread. Wonder what their reaction will be when they open "user x"'s email to them containing some screenshots , ey? For anyone who Gavan has threatened to punch, send me a pm and i will forward you a pic of him. If someone cut both my hands off and tied both legs behind my back, id still be confident of bowling him over 😂😂

SCB
But Tungate was not in Cook & Buczkowski's vision and even if his back wheel was spinning did he make any forward movement? Why does that matter? Tungate was the first to break the rules.
chris4gillian
I think the description is quite accurate really and interesting that you are the only one that has disputed it! That's because I'm not one of his brainwashed sheep. And I take it you feel his nasty attack on Clare Balding is acceptable then? chris4gillian
No, just one of Tai's sheep!! At least Tai does something worth following... I see you didn't answer my question re. Clare Balding so I'll assume you didn't feel it was offensive. That alone should be adequate for you to have the guts to tell Shovlar he was out of order. But then again I go back to my original statement...brainwashed sheep. Baaaaaaaaaaaa
