Thought the crowd was decent for a Monday meeting on Sky.

Not what you said in an earlier post, they should have packed the place out. Even if it mean't giving incentives..

Yep, i would like us to play with a straight bat for a change!

If Matt thinks Hans injury won't allow him to ride to his full potential, then he should not ride. Look at Zeilena Gora and Hampel. He came back and cost his team a place in the final.

Quote just one BV fan who has counted their horses. So, so bitter aren't you. And you were the one predicting a 10k plus crowd. Unbelievable...or would be if we weren't used to your posts.

10K think your reading the wrong posts old son...

He has to be injured though, if he rides in the SEC and proves his fitness how can we replace him unless we are going to come up with the aggravated injury scenario.

Surely if he rides in the SEC he is making a statement the he is fit, if he then aggravates his old injury then shouldn't it be R/R.

I would say the crowd was 1000-1500, the grandstand was 2/3 full by the looks of it. That must hold 2000-2500, they also had fans down the backstraight.

No more thn a 1000 mate.

Swindon are now a very dangerous team with doyle more or less unbeatable tungate flying and morris hitting some form !! They can get something from belle vue on merit imo !!

This is so true, swindon are no pushovers especially round the NSS, imho any of the top 4 could win the P/Offs

Nope. Fed flange said there were about 600 tickets pre sold. And you said 95% of sales would be walk up and pay on the day. Someone can probably lend you a calculator if you need one to do the sums on that. Edited by waihekeaces1

It wouldn't surprise me if we took Poole, Tungate and Holder apart the score would've been a fair bit bigger

Can someone buy starman a calculator, a brain, some common sense and once hes used all three a shotgun so he can put us all out of our misery?!

When Poole won the title a couple of years ago they suprised everyone by picking the team who had finished second.

It would be a massive gamble for Belle Vue to pick Poole, considering we rode poorly tonight and only lost by 3. After the first halve dozen heats Poole started to get dialled in. Would Belle Vue risk us? I hope they would as I believe we would beat them over two legs.

Got to say though there's no easy semi. If Belle Vue pick Swindon, then they have the worry that Swindon are riding on Wednesday so a freebpractice for setups. Perhaps its nice to to worry for a change and just try and beat who is put in front of us.

No you are right. That would be 12k you said would be there. But I said you said over 10k. 12k is over 10k. Or are you admitting that your statement that 95% of ticket sales at belle vue are on the day was laughably inaccurate? Edited by waihekeaces1
