Wessex Wanderer
Made my last visit of the season to the island last night and once again was treated to a thoroughly entertaining meeting. It has been a real pleasure to attend Speedway meetings where those attending are treated as valued customers who should be involved in the proceedings as much as possible. This applies especially to the children. Too many promoters seem to think that their "customer care" ends immediately their entrance money has been taken. Barry Bishop and his team have restored my faith that Speedway does actually have a future in the UK. The meeting itself was another good one despite the depletion of the Kings Lynn team both before and during the match. Particularly liked the naming of Layne Cupitt as the "Master Blaster". Seems absolutely appropriate. One last point, great choice of music. Well done whoever is responsible. It keeps the atmosphere upbeat between races, a not always recognised but still very important factor. Looking forward to next season already.
cityrebel
Totally agree. Despite being a bit negative regarding the islands return at the start of the season, I have been totally won over by the new promotion.

Glad everything seems to have gone well this season.
