StevePark
Why has Robert withdrawn? He injured a hip at Plymouth last night (couldn't do heat 15 because of it). From Robert Lambert Racing Facebook page: After last night I did go to the doctor to get checked out and get some treatment on my hip before tonight's meeting. But I got advised by my doctor to not raceuntil it gets better and singed me off for a minimum of 48h after the incident happened, witch means I couldn't race tonight at Leicester and tomorrow at Sheffield. I'm really upset about that I can't race at Sheffield for the plrc on Sunday and was a big meeting for me on my calendar. But when your body says no then I can't go against what it say and make more damage. I hope to be back Monday for Newcastle just need to see how things go over the next 2 days. Sorry to all the fans and supporters who was going to Sheffield to see me racing round there. But I'll be back strong better than going there and being weak. Have a good night everyone and sorry for the bad news. Edited September 10, 2016 by Steve Park

StevePark
Edward Kennet has pulled out of the PLRC due to injury. Replaced by Kyle Howarth, which means Rye House don't have a representative: http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31262
Fromafar
It just appears in British Speedway that that riders some riders just don't want to ride for standard pay rates IMO .

You could say that in previous years maybe but all the top riders in the PL have made it to Sheffield with only Kennett and Lambert missing out due to injury. Very disappointing to hear, you`d think Doolan would be proud to represent Berwick in this meeting, maybe he should've pulled out and let Jorgensen have a go.

To be fair, that is pretty much the complete opposite of what the Speedway Updates forum said (direct quote): "FANTASTIC FROM KEVIN DOOLAN TO COME AND JOIN THE BANDITS FANS IN THE CROWD. SOME SHEFFIELD RIDERS WON'T WALK AN EXTRA 20 YARDS TO WAVE TO THEIR FANS...." allthegearbutnaeidea
Unreal from Kev after winning heat 19 to come and see the bandits fans and watch the end of the meeting with a pint, proper way to treat your fans
ecksact
Nice idea in theory but the only track without a rider is Poole and that wouldnt be a good place to have it. Belle Vue - Cook, Worrall Wolves - Masters Swindon - Josh G Lakeside - Kennett, Lawson Coventry - King , Garrity Kings Lynn - Lambert Leicester - Auty Good point. Haven't been in a LONG time, but would Birmingham be an option? Or is there another NL track that would be up to standard? Just thinking out loud............

Would you be if you were in his shoes?! Well out of his depth in that line up. But still managed to score more than Cook, Worrall, Wells, Vissing and Summers.
Gavan
Well done to Stead. Just goes to show the state British speedway is in when 3 of the top 4 from the British Final cant make the top 4 and 2 of them didnt even make the top 6!
