speed ace
It's about time they started moving the events around a bit.Agree, how ever you need to hold it at a central location so that it does not impact on attendance and some where there are good spectator facilities, as well as being a decent race track. With all due respect, don't think holding these events at venues like Glasgow, Plymouth, or Ipswich would do them justice and get a big traveling support, the only reason the crowd for the pairs is so good is because many supporters tie it in with the GP.  Take the point also about neutral venues, unfortunately with all the doubling up these days this would be virtually impossible!  Hard to see past King or Garrity, if fit. nagy1
We now have a national speedway stadium that can produce some superb racing. Â The pairs, fours and individual meetings should be held there.

Normski
Can understand the Pairs & PLRC but now that the 4's is a 2 day event would be worth keeping at Peterborough

speed ace
Can understand the Pairs & PLRC but now that the 4's is a 2 day event would be worth keeping at Peterborough Sorry I know this is deviating from actual subject, but always hoping some one from the bspa with some savy (maybe a contradiction there) reads these and understand what the fans want and what would benefit the sport as a whole, not just their own little empire. Â If rumours of what riders were paid for the fours are true, think this may be short lived or else there may be a rider shortage next year. Â Much preferred the old system of local qualifiers and the final as a full meeting.
Tsunami
Didn't know the NATION owned a speedway stadium It was part of the deal with Manchester Council that it was named National Speedway Stadium. Helped swing it I believe.

Same here to be honest when it was Edinburgh, Glasgow , Berwick, Newcastle used to get 4 good meetings, and more importantly 4 big crowds. Right back to the PLRC very good line-up so hard to pick a winner got to fancy Cook, Masters, King, for top 3 if there is to be a spoiler Bellego. allthegearbutnaeidea
Bit hard for the glasgow fans who drive down to Sheffield have a brilliant day out with drink then travel back on the next day, Plymouth is an absolutely rediculous place to have an event with only fans from southern teams being able to attend, it needs to be central in comparison to other PL clubs and so Sheffield fits the bill but I would like them to be at Belle Vue as it is also fairly central and is there to be used with much better facilities.
spin king
Apart from Kennett seen them all around Sheffield this season, so here we go with the Spinny's Owlerton form guide.  Steve Worrall Had some solid performances around Sheffield, but I think he will fall short of a qualifying position, but could win the odd race.  Craig Cook Never rule him out, but he does seem to make an error or two generally on PLRC day, but I would expect him to make the top 6.  Jack Holder Seems to like the Owlerton bowl, but more of spoiler than a winner.  Edward Kennett Not see him this season so judging him on past form and to be honest I think he may win a race or two, but don't see him making the cut.  Sam Masters Past winner, and although I don't think that Sheffield is one his favourites I do see him making the cut but not too sure he is good enough to win it again.  Jason Garrity Bang on form at his home track and very difficult to beat around Sheffield. I think he will make the cut but can he win? Not too sure myself.  Danny King Should make the make the cut, and for me he is in with good chance of pulling of the win.  Aaron Summers Will have some great support from the Glasgow fans, but I think he struggle for points.  David Bellego Loves the Owlerton bowl but in this kind of field more of spoiler than a winner.  Richard Lawson Again will have some solid support, but lot will depend on his gating on the day. if he gates he will win if not he will be at the back.  Robert Lambert For me the favourite for the title, on his last visit to Sheffield he won heat 15 with no seat on the bike for 2 laps. the lad is awesome around Sheffield.  Josh Auty Bit like Bellego more spoiler than winner but his lack of gating skills will keep us entertained.  Kevin Doolan Will have some of the best support in the house with the very vocal Berwick fans. but I am afraid that Kev the Rev will struggle in this field.  Simon Stead Not the rider he was around Sheffield this season, and has been shown that he is beatable around Sheffield, in saying that he should make the Semis and maybe squeeze his way into the Final, but not a winner.  Josh Grajczonek A rider who never seems to fulfil his true potential around Sheffield so for that reason I don't see him winning or making the Final but should reach the Semi Final.  Ricky Wells Lot will depend on how he gates, if he gates well then he could make the Semi Final but he will be spoiler.  So by reckoning it will be final of  Cook Garrity Lambert King  Light the blue touch paper and watch them go.
Cue Ball
Fair assessment Spinny. No stand out winner or loser in the field for me. Half a dozen riders with a better chance than others, but on the night any of them are capable of winning races and doubt any will go through the card

yorkshiretyke
Hope the track is good as this is the best set of riders competing in the PLRC for quite some time. Pretty much an open field as many have said. Â As a tiger hoping Steady and Garrity get to the final. Simon has not been his old self this year; however he did come within 0.1 of the track record not so long ago. He might not pass like he used to but if he hits the front; nobody will catch him. Jason has been awesome of late and is very quick too.. Â Final - winner from Stead Garrity King Cook
