ouch
This site is the gift that just keeps giving. Just when you think you've seen the most stupid statement typed up and sent to the World Wide Web another one comes along and tops it. We should really compile a book of these pearls of wisdom and sell them off for the benevolent fund. Maybe sell them in the intervals.
IainB
Quite right. I'll have a word with Chris Harris and ask him to only crash and break ribs directly before the interval, so as to avoid 2 stoppages. the point is, after having a 10 minute break for track grading why have another 15 minutes after Chris Harris had been treated for "bruising" to his ribs... you guys may lead empty lives where you having nothing else to do, other than stand there watching an empty track... I certainly do not

Quite right....Chris Harris should have has his ribs treated in the first break....before he crashed and damaged his ribs.

The point is if you have a break for an injury then there is no need for another interval. I have been to meetings where has been a sun break then a break for benevolent fund then another interval. The other night Tai fell, Newman fell, Tai injured himself but track cleared quickly and we had a short interval, why the need for a long interval when there has already been a break. Steve Shovlar
At the Leicester V Poole meeting, after a long delay for Hans injury, the announcer said there would only be a very short interval. It lasted 24 minutes.
IainB
Conned again! Just entered stadium and r/r announced for Wozniak... no doubt the BV apolgists will be sticking up for them again, if they can tear themselves away from their 105 minute piss! To stare at an empty track
mikebv
No Nicholls? No Fricke? No Wozniak? No massive crowd? Wonder if the things are related? No course not, couldn't be....😖 Because its the way British Speedway is run and we should all just accept the situation, attend every week, and understand that this is the way it always will be, and be content that the BSPA know best on how to run their sport.. We fans (and ex fans) need to know our place and accept it gratefully.. Edited September 7, 2016 by mikebv

mikec
A shocker of a fall for Richie Worrall in heat 12. Hope he's OK! Walking away but looked really nasty. Richie walked past us at pit gate, so lucky that his bouncing bike missed him. He was on brother Steve's bike, hope that's OK too! IainB
Just the 2 hours and 15 minutes to run 15 races tonight... again a big well done to everybody involved 😀

mdmc82
Well done to Belle Vue on the win 👍🏻 Great guesting from King. Top scoring with 12+1 points
John Leslie
The point is if you have a break for an injury then there is no need for another interval. So they had an interval at heat 10, then Harris fell in heat 11 causing another break.... so everyone then gets in a time machine and go back to cancel the original interval? Maybe the Dr was with the injured riders n the pits on both occasions. Sure racing can't commence if the Dr or Paramedic isn't on the centre green. Just the 2 hours and 15 minutes to run 15 races tonight... again a big well done to everybody involved 2 hours has always been the norm for a 15 heat speedway meeting. Do you want a meeting done & dusted in 45 minutes?
