Poole V Kings Lynn Elb. 7/09/16

Recommended Posts

spot on which is exactly what i said.

Apparantly is absolutely fine for me to say that Ellis is having a good season and has improved.

But if i say Newman hasnt improved then im a troll.......got to love some Poole fans logic.

Must remember your not allowed to be negative towards any Poole riders

You are always negative against Poole riders. And you only compliment Ellis so you can slag off Newman!

Thats exactly what i do.......unreal comments.

Buck and Newman and to a lesser extent Kurtz have had average seasons.

Holder started slowly but seems fine and Hans has done all that was required so to Bjarne.

Ellis without doubt is Pooles rider of the year.

Have i got to praise the whole 1-7????

What a fortunate person you are. You only have to watch them occasionally, whereas, some of us have to watch every week. Ever had that feeling as been sold down the river. That what's it been all year... Its an embarrassment some of the teams we have fielded. A big 'Well done ' to MPT last night. without his contribution I hate to imagine the score. Even the management couldn't be bothered to attend. What spirit does that project. Never in all my time of following the Stars can I remember such bad attitude, as this of present... Its as if nobody give a damned.

As for your comment about SKY TV. They knew what was on offer last night. They knew we would be cannon fodder, but they still went ahead and showed it as planned. So if there is any blame to be apportioned then it has to be directed to Sky themselves.....

Your quote " Even the management couldn't be both to attend "

Facts - Rob had a prior arrangement which he needed to be at, this was known well in advance - so no problem as Dale would Manage team. Dale's mother was taken ill the day before and rushed to hospital for an operation. Hence his reason he couldn't be there. I assume if your mother had been taken ill you would have said "f*^k her" I'm going to the speedway. Even Rosco put out a stupid tweet last night, saying "white flag out from Lynn management"

Can't disagree with that but your post is very detailed and well in the know about the King's Lynn management and their whereabouts, so I would presume you have something to do with the management to know both were away.

You don't have to answer my question, but I have seen a few posts regarding the legality of the Kings Lynn team in relation to Kai Huckenbeck and the rules set by the BSPA which according to a poster was broken. Do you have any comment or stance on this report as I think personally think people have a right to know if rules are being broken or is the poster incorrect.

I was with my mother to the very end, when she passed away at the young age 50yrs.......

The point that I was making we have 3 Team Managers / Promotors, surely one could have been there rather than co-opting a stranger from a nearby team... Whatever the reason for their absenteeism, it sure gave off a bad impression.... .....

How can you expect the riders to try when their Team Manager is a stranger...

I respect your top sentance, But how do you expect riders to try if you have a stranger in charge, well Garry may is no stranger look at his record..Garrys a very good team manager, and a regular at Winborne rd. Bomber is injured and fair play to his for trying, and the only other rider that could be arsed to put himself out was Michael palm toft. Says it all about the rest...Sack them all and start again...

Well as I predicted a 30+ point win for poole as usual so ALL the poole fans will be happy, bigger the better do not matter if the racing is crap on yet another SLICK boring track.

There was 2 other fans of poole who also were VERY happy and even thought there was some good racing, pearson and tatum.

The more poole are shown the more we realise what a terrible state British speedway is in. One side struggling to put a team out against a manipulative management in middleditch and ford.

Dont the smug arrogant poole fans realise that their teams management are killing speedway perhaps forever and sky might well pull the plug on showing boring meetings like this was. Or as I think they dont

care as long as they win by 30+ every meeting.

We all predicted an easy home win, nothing new there. But you say the poole management are killing british speedway. I would say the rest are doing a better job, wouldn't you !!

Just block the troll. Makes the forum far more pleasureable.

I've had him on ignore for ages but others keep 'quoting' his posts. I'd stopped commenting on any of his posts but just reading through some of last night's and this mornings, the steam coming out of my ears would very nearly have earned me an expected ban!!

I decided not to give the t**t the satisfaction. (replace the asterisks with any choice of letters to suit!!) :D

We all care and the vast majority don't like one sided meetings but that isn't Poole's fault.

What absolute BS. Is this the 'manipulative management' that tracked two EL 2nd strings in place of 2 heat leaders yet still achieved a decent win with some cracking racing.

All tracks are generally slick - or at least a lot slicker than in years gone by. Nothing to do with being 'manipulative' - its what the machinery is more suited to.

Yes there are lots that have to be improved in British Speedway, but continually reducing the level to the lowest common denominator will see the sport disappear up its own backside. The quicker the other promotions get on board the better. :D:wink:

It sounds like your saying one of them will be replaced surely if they are fit the best option would be to keep both of them. If needed surely both could be replaced on a like for like basis.

Sorry FB what I meant was as we can only replace one 'injured' rider then it depends who declares them selves fit and proves it in time - the other having to stay 'injured' for the rest of the season!!:wink:

Buzz could have the opportunity to prove himself next week?!

Just watched last nights meeting back on Youtube and have to say it was very entertaining regardless of the score. How can anyone say it was a snooze fest is beyond me. Loads of great racing all evening. Mind you we are spoilt at Poole with a very good racetrack that allows passing off every bend.

Have to say I agree about Lambert. He was abysmal last night. Gifted two of his points last night with an ef of Tungate and no Holder in 15. Last night should have been a meeting he would have thrived in. A proper race track with loads of racing lines but he was awol. A young lad should be up for it every meeting.

Following him this year Ellis is catching fast. A far better gater, has track craft and is also a youngster. Just needs to learn how to adjust his gear when the track slickens off.

Not so sure I`d describe it as very entertaining nor would I describe as a snooze fest, the strength of the Kings Lynn team made a home hefty home win inevitable but with MPT around there was enough decent racing for me. No putting Poole down, they can only beat what is put in front of them and they did.
