dorset delight
A comfy 10-15 home win here cant see anything else. Would take a point right now
stevebrum
Doesn't matter who we have booked we will still get beaten fairly easily. Wanted to make it up for this but doubt it will happen as I am in Lewes in Sussex on Monday. Poole have had some great results at Monmore in recent seasons. It could be a tight one if the Pirates are in form. Nicholls won't score far from what Hans would, maybe even more as very erratic this season Hans. Nicholls got 15 last time. Steve Shovlar
Nicholls got 15 last time. Let's hope he doesn't "do a Fricke" then. Edited September 2, 2016 by Steve Shovlar
ray c
Scott's a racer I'm sure he match what Hans would have scored perhaps r/r may have been another option can't see us getting a point from this but you never know shame it's not the sky meeting next week
Gavan
I find it hilarious that the Poole troll has a pop at the Wolves track! Obviously he missed the highlights of the Lakesude meeting for example. Reckons people only pass at Wolves if the away rider makes a mistake lol. Seem to remember a recent meeting on sky and all the riders were hitting ruts and shooting across corners! Wolves is a great track with lots of lines. Some people seem to think speedway is all about riding flat out! Well Wolves regularly provides better racing than every track in the league and to say that Poole is second only to Belle Vue is total crap
LisaColette
Why do people slag it off on social media if it is soooo good. Have only seen a handful of meetings at Wolves, so can only go on that. Not that I have said it is rubbish or good yet! Unless you have been to Wolves every week Gavan, you can't really make statements like that! Daniel Smith
Great to see Poole are confident of a Play-Off push for next season. A bit early to talk this meeting up when this season hasn't finished yet. How did you acquire next years fixture list Shovvy??
SteveLyric2
With 5 riders due to take part in tomorrow's GP challenge, lets hope they all come through without further injury - other than Hans' worsening hand/finger!! ;-)
INCOGNITO
Won't mean much in the end as they are likely to meet up in the play offs with Belle Vue obviously going to pick Swindon. Both teams will look at it as practice on the opponents track more than a battle for three points.

Unless you have been to Wolves every week Gavan, you can't really make statements like that! It makes no difference what anyone says on social media says. The track is regularly voted best race track, SKY love going their because meetings are usually good ones from a race track perspective. The poor fest from Swindon a couple of weeks ago had people raving about the 5 heats they showed from Wolves with the World Champion than hardly any of the racing from the featured meeting. Whether you prefer racing on a small or big track is irrelevant. The racing at wolves is often decent.
scottyfan
Last time in the ELA match it was 55-35 to Wolves, probably be 60-30ish to Wolves this time.

sommelier
Poole travel to Wolverhampton on Monday for the elite league B fixture. Terrible hunting ground for Poole over the years and Monday is likely to be no different. Watching the two meetings on Sky this week proves what a tricky little track it is for away riders, with falling and wobbling around getting the bends wrong to allow the home riders through. Wolves fans will defend their track obviously but would I want to watch this every week? Meh. Not sure yet whether Hans will be back or not. He does go OK around there so hope he has recovered. Not sure it will make a great deal of difference to be honest though and expect Wolverhapton to win convincingly. 53-37ish. For Pirates to get 40 has to be seen as a success. Thoughts? I started watching speedway at Wolves in 1968, seen some amazing riders over the years, Olsen was so special around there. But for me Darcy was the all time master at Wolves, feel privileged to have watched some of his moves at monmore Green

Ouch Wolves tight track can't be to good for that type of injury. With his Polish club now in the play offs and now the injury i hope that he will not think that the Elite league is getting a little to much and may damage his world title hopes. He may not want to risk burning out.I am sure that Joonas is ready and willing to take his place if this happens. All said tongue in cheek by the way. Edited September 3, 2016 by B.V 72
foreverblue
Deffo no Hans, he has pulled out the GP challenge Oh really that's bad luck for him. If that's the case can't see him riding again this season. I don't think you're right, Scott usually does well at Monmore but Tai is a much better rider than Hans anyway so any replacement for him should by rights score more. Having said that I hope that's Tai's problem doesn't stop him riding.
