Poole Vs Belle Vue 1st September 2016

Probably Poole if he wants a challenge. That would keep him on his toes all season because if his form dipped he would be dropped.

KK is just proving to Matt that he wants to ride for Poole. What is the bet that KK get rubbish scores for Cov so that his average drops for next season.

KK misses meetings at leisure this season. So is unlikely to be around to have his average altered.

Would be interesting who KK would choose if both Coventry and Poole want him next season!

He is Poole through and through. The only time he seems to gain consistency and perform on a regular basis is in a Poole jacket.

The Bees fans are going overboard about his commitment to them this season yet had missed a 6th of all their meetings! I say some but there are a few that see the real picture about his commitment.

I do know KK asked for a team spot at Coventry during the winter but if Poole come calling he may decide on Poole. Being a Wednesday track will help aswell.

According to the dark lord troll you're apparently not allowed to refer to other meetings in a thread, I dont mind to be honest and unlike it I would never troll anyone for doing so, in the circumstances I can understand how you got confused.

You must already know that I think that meetings between mediocre mid table teams have more importance due to the cup, I have posted it plenty of times before? Besides, it looks like we agree! Meaningless meetings for the top sides after they have all but qualified instead of championship thrillers for the last six weeks of the season, but that is balanced out by the massive meeting involving mediocre mid table sides and the magic of the cup. (or not balanced out in Sweden at least)

Yes i think we can agree the play offs are great for all teams fighting for the top four spots and are the most exciting meetings in the league calendar.

nothing about commitment its coventry being a friday night club , he bound to miss a few

poole being a mid week club would mean less fixture clashes simple.

Just replying to your meaningless qualifiers comment which involves all teams hoping to make it to the all important play offs. Lakeside fans always think they are just making up the numbers but they have a massive home track advantage so anything is still possible.

Belle Vue will top the table now so the Belle Vue meeting on the 12th is meaningless and would have been meaningless with or without the play offs but good practice for Poole.

If a league match between two of the top teams in the EL who met in the final last year is 'meaningless' just how many speedway meetings have any meaning? (It is easy to argue that all sport is fundamentally meaningless, but that's perhaps too much philosophy for a Poole thread).

Can't we just enjoy speedway without constantly downgrading it so people can pass themselves off as experts?

This mentality has killed the EL KO Cup,test matches, challenge matches, most pairs competitions or four team tournaments and most individual meetings and second halves. Now league matches are being given this slur.

Just what do we have left to destroy?

Maybe maybe not. He still picked and choose meetings for others clubs in recent seasons including being sacked for lacking commitment.

My point remains that he is a different animal with a Poole jacket on.

Not surprising with KK's UK management not only based in Poole but also part of Poole's 'backroom' staff! No brainer really, although any speculation about a team place is surely too soon as we don't yet know any format for 2017 (although it seems not to have deterred Jason Doyle and Swindon!)

One would hope speedway riders rode every meeting as if it was a play off final, that rarely happens but it should be a good meeting hopefully as the cameras are there. Quite funny Fred Flange liked your post as it is him who constantly goes on about meaningless meetings.

Really? Care to quote anyone being sour? Gavan picked poole to win by ten, and posted straight after the meeting?

Good for him, what does he want a medal or a chest to hang it on.. Yep sounds like him to get in straight after the meeting, I got it right na na nan na na.. mr popularity... Shame he cannot post in his beloved, alledgedly Ippo thread instead. Still I have him on ignore, im not interested in his waffle. :nono:

So someone replies to this

and you think it's funny that I liked the reply and would prefer to have not killed the EL KO Cup,test matches, challenge matches, most pairs competitions or four team tournaments and most individual meetings and second halves.

Well it takes all sorts I suppose? You even said it would have been meaningless without the play offs!

How exactly could the Belle Vue v Poole meeting on the 12th have been meaningless without the play offs?

I am sure we all regret the loss of the cups, individual competions pair competions etc . i only said meaningless because you keep going on about meaningless play offs. The 12th September meeting would be meaningless in a normal league season because you will have already wrapped up top spot by then.
